A great little cottage to get away from it all!

  • 4 of 5

Based on a working farm we really enjoyed the animals around us. The cottage has everything you want for self catering needs. The family made us welcome but respected our privacy. On top of that it was the hottest bank holiday for years which helps!!

A superb place to stay in the North York Moors!

  • 5 of 5

It certainly is off the beaten track...the barn/cottage is next to a farm, but there was hardly any noise. Even though there are local walks with good views we chose to go to other venues. Everything about the cottage was really well thought out. The underfloor heating, combined kitchen & lounge, bedroom, and bathroom had everything we needed. The power shower for my poorly back was a real treat. Penny, the owner left us to enjoy the place but gave advice when we needed it. There is nothing negative to say about our stay. I recommend it for folk heading to the North York Moors. Thank you Penny!

Absolutely fantastic

  • 5 of 5

The most relaxing, quiet little place! The photos on the website really don't do this little gem justice. Very comfortable beds, amazing bathroom and with fab shower, cozy, little home from home. Limited phone signal which was just perfect for escaping the rat race of everyday life.

In the middle of beautiful countryside with walks from the doorstep.

Most certainly will be returning. Thank You to Penny and Duncan

Lovely comfortable accommodation

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had an enjoyable relaxing weekend in this converted barn this weekend.

The accommodation is quite spacious, comfortable and it was lovely and warm.

The hosts, Penny & Duncan were lovely and made sure that we had everything we needed.

Would love to stay here again.

peace and quiet and wonderful countryside

  • 5 of 5

Such a unique find. Lovely barn conversion on a working farm. We relished the peace and quiet and the feeling we were truly getting away from it all, yet only a half mile from main road. The mezzanine level with the double bed added to the whole character. Well equipped kitchen to prepare meals. Great big bath and hot powerful shower. I'm a keen runner and the opportunity to head out on the Cleveland way not far from the barn was very special. We didn't miss not having wifi - in fact it was liberating and made time for reading and chatting. Our 6 year old boy loved his big bedroom and the big telly! Highly recommend. thank you!
