Leopold Place is a large (100 m2), quiet, city centre basement flat with small private garden to the rear. The front of the property faces south making the living/dining room bright and airy whilst the bedrooms are situated to the rear. There is a private front courtyard ensuring privacy from the road above.

The kitchen adjoins the living area and is equipped with Siemens appliances throughout including oven, electric hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Other kitchen appliances include microwave, cafetiere, kettle and toaster.

The dining area of the living room seats 4 but with the option of extending the table to seat 6. HD digital TV is at your disposal.

There is a king-size bed (150cm) in the master bedroom with a double bed (135cm) in the second bedroom. A large sofabed in the master bedroom gives the option of sleeping up to 2 further people.

There is gas central heating throughout and on-demand hot water

The central location of Leopold Place means that everything is close by with the majority of Edinburgh's attractions within walking distance. Many of the venues for the Edinburgh International Festival are also within a short walking distance and the Playhouse Theatre is situated just 2 mins walk from the apartment. John Lewis department store and the Omni entertainment centre are also less than 5 mins walk away.

Valvona & Crolla, arguably Edinburgh's best delicatessen, is literally around the corner.

Awesome place!

My sister and I spent 5 days here in early October and I cannot recommend it more highly. It is extremely clean, very spacious, quiet, beautifully appointed and light and bright inside with several windows. The two bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. The kitchen is modern, well equipped, well stocked and we prepared several meals there. There is a nice Tesco grocery 2 blocks away. The living/dining room has a great television and is a very comfortable place to spend the evening. We loved the location as it is within walking distance of most major tourist sites. We are both in our mid to late 60's and we felt perfectly safe walking at 4:30 A.M. to Waverly Station (15 minutes pulling suitcases) to catch the bus to the airport (£4.50). This place is just wonderful and you will be very fortunate if it is available for your stay. Thank you Mark for sharing your lovely home with us as it greatly enhanced our Edinburgh experience.

Top-notch, a great place to stay in Edinburgh

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment and found it to be a perfect place from which to enjoy Edinburgh. Our family of four stayed for 3 nights in September. The apartment is quiet, clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. And the location is just about ideal - near the eastern edge of New Town, and just a short walk to the attractions in the central part of the city. There are also lots of restaurants in the immediate area. We found Mark to be a very attentive and gracious host. We recommend it very highly!

Excellent

Perfect location, buses around the corner. Noisy street but once inside, quiet as a tomb. Beds were a dream. Great, well equipped kitchen for when you just feel like staying in for dinner, otherwise, plenty of good restaurants nearby.

We would definitely stay there again!

Great quiet location close to all the attractions

We had a great stay in Edinburgh at this location. The flat was well equipped, very clean and despite being on a busy road, it was very quiet. It was within easy walking distance of all the main attractions (15-20 minutes from Royal Mile). We only took a bus once to go visit the Royal Yacht Britannia as it was too far away. We were a family with a teenage son and we found the layout and size perfect for our use.

Perfect location, spacious/sunny flat, everything we needed was there

Our family stayed in Mark's flat in June with our four older children. The home was spacious and open with room for all of us. Mark thought of every little detail to streamline our visit. The flat is centrally located and we were able to walk everywhere. Buses also run close by. I would highly recommend this beautiful flat and amazing location in lovely Edinburgh.

Edinburgh, being a UNESCO world heritage site, needs little introduction. Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile are all world famous. Edinburgh's architecture is also world renowned, especially the Georgian buildings and gardens of the New Town. Above all, however, Edinburgh is perhaps best known for the Edinburgh International Festival which takes place every summer.

Edinburgh is also perfectly placed for visiting the beaches of East Lothian, the beautiful Scottish Borders and as a stepping stone for the Highlands & Islands. Glasgow is also just an hour away by train.
