The apartment was open, well furnished and clean. There are TWO balconies, and it is very close to a grocery store which was very convenient. You can actually see it from one of the balconies. There’s also a row of restaurants that one can easily walk to if cooking is not your thing.
When we arrived, we were met by Ikram, the property manager. We did not have to wait at all! I really appreciated the three doors one had to go through (two on ground level and one to get into apartment). It made me feel safe and secure.
The elevator was a very nice touch as well as it helped get our luggage and the one elderly person on vacation with us up to the second floor.
The property manager was helpful in giving us pointers for our visit as well as helping us when we needed it. We really appreciated her taking the time to help us out as first time travelers to Barcelona. She was able to help us with the easy things and the more complex things things as well. She even came over one day when we were in need of assistance.
We also felt the apartment we well priced. Communication with the owner has been easy with the inbox for Home Away as well.

Now, in Barcelona , you should pay, a tourist tax of 2,48€ , per person/per night , up to maximum of 7 nights ( children under 17 years old are exempt), payment will be made only in cash on arrival at the apartment and it’s additional to the price of the reservation.' , Check-in and check-out are flexible, except in cases in which there is a group coming/leaving the same day. Please note that late check-in from 20:00 to 24:00 carries a surcharge of EUR 30 ( to be paid in cash during the check in) .
