Only one day of the two day stay was good...
We arrived at 3pm and asked about check-in and was told we would be called when the room was ready. We were expecting check-in to be anytime from 3pm to 4:30 as listed on contract, but we didn't receive a call, so we called back and was able to get in the room after 5pm. We first went onto the patio balcony and shut the patio door because of the A/C. When trying to get back inside from the balcony, the doorknob came off and we were locked outside on the balcony with no one to let us in. Fortunately we had a cell phone and called the office. They sent someone to let us back in and to replace the doorknob. After that we unloaded our suitcases and planned to go to the beach and pool. Unfortunately when washing hands in the bathroom, the pipe under the sink broke spilling water under the cabinet and onto the floor! So, we called again and waited for someone to come. They came after about 30 minutes and didn't have the supplies to fix the bathroom sink and said they would come back the next day. At this point it was about 8pm and our first vacation day was almost over and we had done nothing but deal with the room we paid over $300 per night to stay in! Later that night we saw a cockroach on the wall but was unable to catch! We didn't call the office about that since it was late and we didn't want pesticide chemicals in the air.
The next day around noon, the workers came to fix the sink. So, we finally got to brush our teeth somewhere besides the kitchen sink!
Our 20 year old daughter wanted it to be mentioned that she was upset when she went to the hot tub by herself and she was spoken to harshly and was told to go get an ID to prove she was over 18 and could be in the empty hot tub!
Other than all these issues, the unit was cute, well stocked, and we did enjoy the afternoon of the 2nd day. Overall, our $300 a night, 2 night stay turned out to be very expensive for only one good day!
