Overview

About the property

Cute and cosy cottage next to the beach. Loch Fyne at the bottom of the garden.

Cedar cottage is the ultimate in traditional cottage charm. Full of character and history, this little cottage has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 4), living room with wood burner and large conservatory and a well equipped kitchen with stunning Loch views. Cedar has excellent fishing off the rocks though the gate at the bottom of the garden. The garden itself is stocked with lovely shrubs and trees and is fully enclosed. The beach is 2 minute walk around the corner from the cottage. Cedar offers peace and tranquility for guests but is only a 20 minute drive to Inveraray where there are plenty of shops and some great places to eat and visit. Cedar Cottage is located on road that runs parallel to the Loch. Despite the road only being a couple of miles long, you'll need to allow around 15/20 mins to drive it as there are potholes. You don't need a 4x4 to access the cottage but you do need to take your time and take care when driving the track. This cottage is ideal for couples and families who want peace and quiet and those who enjoy the great outdoors. There are lots of walks, cycle and running routes direct from the doorstep. If you want to stay in a traditional cottage with character and charm, in a peaceful location, surrounded by stunning scenery, you'll love Cedar Cottage.

Stunning location, spacious and a perfect place to relax

  • 5 of 5

Property is very clean and comfortable with great views of the loch. Furnishings are modern and new, comfortable beds and well equipped. Only thing missing for me was a drying horse.

The road (track) to the cottage is a bumpy ride and is well communicated but challenged my driving skills when so used to driving in roads and motorways at speed!

Would love to return in the summer months and see this area in a different season sure it will be equally picturesque as when dusted in snow.

Beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

Loved our stay here, the location is beautiful and the house is very comfortable and recently refurbished. Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep and near enough to the town for food shopping and meals out. House is a little out the way but that was a bonus for us. Very peaceful.

A lovely shore side cottage situated on the stunning west coast

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at this very cosy cottage recently and loved it. It’s situated on the shores of Loch Fyne and on our recent visit it snowed which wasn’t an issue with the great log burner it has in the lounge. The cottage is fitted out to a very high standard and has internet ≠tflix, but the best bit is the cottages location which is second to none. This cottage could be used for a family get together, Hogmanay or romantic week away. 5* all the way and will definitely be back!
