Modern, fully furnished villa with all home comforts in quiet location

Lovely detached villa in own gardens with private pool and barbecue area. Modern and comfortable, in quiet location, but within easy reach of shops, restaurants and beaches.

A real home-from-home feel to the property. Fully equipped with modern appliances and equipment, Freeview satellite TV and books/games to fully enjoy a relaxing holiday in our home-from-home. Very modern, clean and comfortable furnishings and excellent equipment ensure a comfortable stay.

Although there are many excellent, good value restaurants within easy reach, we include a welcome pack of basic groceries with all bookings to ensure that your arrival is as pleasant as possible. Linen and towels are changed on departure, and all prices include end of holiday cleaning.

The villa is furnished to a high standard, to ensure comfort and relaxation throughout your stay. We have air conditioning in the lounge/dining room and all bedrooms so is suitable for use all year round.

Private grounds with private swimming pool: The gardens are particularly pleasant and have a range of outdoor furniture and a lovely barbecue area. There is a large sun terrace upstairs which can be reached via the master bedroom or the landing. Beautiful mountain views from the terrace make it a very pleasant place to enjoy the sun.

Tres Cales local area: Tres Cales is the largest urbanisation in Ametlla De Mar. It is on the coast, so there are several lovely beaches within a couple of minutes drive form the villa. Saint Jordi beach also has an historic Castle nearby.

There is a Commercial Centre on the urbanisation, with shops and restaurants, but it is only a few minutes drive into the village of Ametlla, which is a very traditional Spanish fishing village. The focus is the lovely fishing harbour around which there are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. There is also a charming old town with interesting architecture.

Costa Dorada Area: There are lots of places to visit in the area. Tarragona, Cambrils and Salou are the closest main holiday resorts. Each offers lots of interesting places to visit, from beautiful beaches, good restaurants and shops to historic architecture, particularly Tarragona.

There is a lovely long promenade in Salou, as well as a Universal Studios theme park and water park called Port Aventura. Cambrils is a very cosmopolitan marina resort, lots of restaurants and boutiques. Tarragona itself has a beautiful old town, with ancient buildings around busy squares full of restaurants and pavement cafes.

It is a huge wine-growing region, famous for Cava and Torres wines. There are also local markets selling fresh fruit, vegetables and cured hams etc.

Nous avons passez 2 semaines vraiment très agréables. La maison est très propre, il y a tout le nécéssaire pour cuisiner, la piscine est propre, le quartier calme... A quelques kilomètres seulement de superbes plages comme San Jordi... A refaire !!!

De superbes vacances!!!!

La villa est magnifique et parfaitement équipée, le voisinage charmant et la propriétaire très à l'écoute.

Le seul bémol, c'est le défaut de raccordement de la tv au satellite. Prévoir donc des jeux, des DVD, de la lecture pour s'occuper le soir.

Sinon, nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans ce havre de paix. Les enfants ont adoré les bains de minuit.

Très belle maison, mais annonce à remettre à jour

La maison est vraiment très bien. Elle est très bien entretenue (y compris le jardin et la piscine), les équipements sont de bonne qualité et l'emplacement est relativement calme.

En revanche, nous sommes arrivés à 16h et le ménage était loin d'être terminé. Pour ne pas trop nous faire attendre, la dame a alors fait vite, mais le résultat était bâclé.

Par ailleurs, la réalité est un peu différente de l'annonce: nous n'avons pas eu de pack de bienvenue avec les produits alimentaires de base (juste quelques pots de condiments déjà ouverts dans le frigo), la télévision n'était pas raccordée ni au satellite, ni à la TNT (elle n'était raccordée à rien, si ce n'est internet, ce qui a permis aux enfants de regarder quelques vidéos sur youtube ou d'écouter la musique) et le lecteur DVD n'était pas branché à la télévision (pas de cable péritel...).

En outre, il était noté qu'il y avait des vélos, mais je ne les ai pas trouvés...

Cela ne sont que des détails, mais si l'annonce avait été à jour, cela ne nous aurait alors pas dérangé.

Je vous conseille toutefois cette location dans laquelle nous avons passé 15 jours de vacances très agréables.

The television does work for British channels via the Internet, sorry it does not pick up French channels. I will refund £20 because you should have received a grocery Welcome pack.
