About the property

Close to the beach, family sized home situated on the sea front and close to Mumbles and many other amenities - Clyne Gardens, Singleton Park, watersports, surfing and a short ride to the Gower Peninsular.

Furnished to a high specification and recently graded as 5* by Visit Wales, Number 42 provides a real sense of home from home. There is ample off road parking for up to 5 cars. The rear garden is fully enclosed and safe for children and dogs. There is a large patio area with dining for 8 - fully lit. At the bottom of the garden there is a summer house which is heated and comfortable. Guests have use of the garden shed for storage of bikes, surfboards etc. Sky (movies, box sets, sports & Sky Kids) included. We understand that dogs are important family members and are welcome at the property without additional charge.

I am a retired nurse, born and raised in Swansea and currently living on a small farm in Carmarthenshire where I raise Swiss Valais sheep.

Why sharon may chose Swansea

My family and I have loved the time we have spent at the house. The location has something for every member of the family. There is a beach opposite the house and a shallow outdoor pool approximately 400 metres away where younger children can safely play. There are parks, restaurants and indoor play areas a short walk away. We have used our boat many times to Dolphin spot off the coast. The garden is private and safe for children and pets.

What makes this house unique

The house is ideally situated to explore - you may decide to park the car for the week and walk, cycle bus (there is a bus stop 100 metres from the house) or explore further (the M4 motorway is a short drive away) and the train station less than 15 minutes away by car.

Fatastic comfortable home from home.

The house was absoloutely lovely. Really spacious, with high standard furnishings. Everything you could possibly need from high chairs to ice machines and coffee machines. It is in such a lovely location where you can take an early morning walk on the beach and even catch the land train along the front in to the mumbles. All bedrooms are so spacious so even with 8 people in you would not feel on top of each other at all. would be a lovely place for a large group of people. Have already recommended it to so many friends and family. Will be back - hopefully very soon :)

Fantastic property in lovely location

Beautiful house with everything you would ever need to make your stay complete. We had a 2 year old child so really appreciated the safety gates and enclosed garden plus the bonus of a park and paddling pool a few minutes walk away. Mumbles village (a leisurely stroll along sea front) has boutiques, restaurants and bars plus a choice of beaches nearby.

House is very well appointed and finished and you can tell the owners take a great pride in the offering the property for our pleasure. Quality appliances throughout kitchen that allow you to easily cater for 8.

An excellent location, beach just over the road, 25/30mins walk along sea front to Mumbles and watersports centre less than 1K away. For golfers most courses reachable within 30 mins, even during the school run and big superstores within a couple of miles of the property allow you to pick up those fresh provisions (en route to property), ready for your stay.

All bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable, with good matresses. Plenty of parking and turning space in front garden area. Lots of storage for bikes, golf clubs, surfboards etc.

Have stayed in several of these facilities in the past and I can say that in this case I would stay here again without a moments hesitation.

Spacious, well decorated and equipped house.

The house was very comfortable. It was pleasantly decorated and equipped. Everything was clean and there was a useful welcome pack of food. The house is opposite the Swansea to Mumbles promenade and was convenient for a trip to the Gower peninsula.

Great house,super location !

The property suited us perfectly,6 adults , a two year old and 3 babies. The house was spacious and clean,the decor was tasteful and the amenities just right for us. We will definitely be booking it again! The location was great and we were even lucky with the weathe!

A perfect House for the 6 of us (3 couples). Comfortable and very well equipped , warm and cosy .
