This recently built farm outbuilding conversion is situated in the Canales hamlet, by the Oyambre natural park. It is only 2.5 miles away from the beaches and the extremely picturesque town of Comillas, with its palaces (one of them by Gaudí), port, restaurants and cobbled streets.
It is ideally situated as a base to explore the cave paintings of Altamira, the medieval town of Santillana del Mar and the mountains and gorges of the Picos de Europa. The house has a 20 m2 south-facing patio and large windows.
It is very easily accessible by road from Santander, which can be reached by air from various European cities, or by ferry from Plymouth, beaches, hills, history, food and architecture.
Daily Telegraph: "Comillas is a fashionable seaside for its fine sandy Comillas beach has a great choice of bars and restaurants".
Please note that rental periods should not start on a Sunday. Thank you.
