Bright modern and comfortable 2 Bedroom Apartment

This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom first floor Granada apartment located at the popular Residential La Cinuelica, Punta Marina, Los Altos, which is a 15 minute walk from the beach, 5 minute walk to the local supermarket and within 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants. The town and marina of Torrevieja is a 15 minute drive away.
The living/dining room has a comfortable sofa and armchair, sideboard unit, television with English and Spanish channels, Free WIFI, sound box, dining table and 4 chairs, with Air Conditioning fitted for your comfort. An archway leads to the kitchen and a utility room housing a washing machine.
The fully fitted kitchen has a fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, toaster, microwave, kettle, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
The main bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and 2 bedside cabinets with drawers.. Duvets for the winter months. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and fitted wardrobes with chest of drawers.
The fully tiled bathroom has a bath, over the bath shower with sliding doors, bidet, toilet and sink with mirror and light and cabinate.
Additional Items:
Ironing board and iron, clothes airer, hair dryer, books and games, 2 sunbeds, 1 beach chair.
The property has use of a communal swimming pool which is located in front of the building along with a landscaped garden.
There is also plenty of parking in front of the apartment.
The property has a balcony area to the front and it is equipped with table and chairs for al fresco dining, with visibility of the Mediterranean.
Bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided. There is a strickly NO SMOKING policy.
The property is suitable for couples, familes, golfers.

Disappointing stay
My family and I have just got back from our holiday and unfortunately did not have the stay we expected. The air con unit is not fit for purpose. There is one air con unit in the main living room area the bedrooms only have ceiling fans which are inadequate in the height of summer. The air con unit constantly cut out and would not go below 19 as a result we were forced to sleep in the main living area and keep turning the air con back on. We paid for a 2 bedroom apartment with air con and ended up all sleeping in one room meaning we had no communal space. Margret the cleaner thankfully provided us with a fan and if we didn’t have this we would not have physically been able to stay here for a week. The other issue we had was with the location without hiring a car you are trapped in a residential area with limited amenities within walking distance, the closest restaurants were over a 20 minute walk away and uphill back to the apartment. The beach is a 30 minute walk. The communal pool area was nice but unfortunately no sun loungers were provided by the host for use at the pool so you have to lye on the grass. Overall we were very disappointed on our stay and would not recommend this apartment / location.

Good base for adventures
The apartment was very suitable as a base for adventures. The neighborhood was very quiet (except for the construction work for a new block house some hundreds of meters away). Parking was convenient and a well-equipped supermarket was within a walking distance. Pool was really good. Apartment was clean and full-featured. Landlady was very responsive and friendly.

My Husband and I became the proud owners of our lovely Apartment 15 years ago in the popular Los Altos area in Orihuela Costa.
Myself and Husband Steve have been married for 41 years, have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. We were both born in Brighton, Sussex, England and still live here. We are both Self Employed, Steve in the Motor Trade and I am a Bookkeeper. We have spent many holidays in Spain and enjoy relaxing in the beautiful weather.
We find this area is very child friendly, so if your looking for a relaxing holiday or a party atmosphere you will be sure to find it.

Why they chose this property

15 years ago I and my younger son Lee went over to Spain to find a property for our future holidays.
We were shown 6 properties, this being the first we saw and instantly loved it, the others didn't come close.
We liked the area, close to the Sea, Bars & Restaurants.
Although at the time it was just a building site, we loved the views from where we were situated. I like the fact that you can have a quiet relaxed holiday, or enjoy the more lively side of holidaying with the numerous clubs and nightlife.
There is definitely enough to do for everyone
We hope our future guests enjoy it as much as we do

What makes this property unique

We liked the look of our Apartment, only 3 storey high, overlooking the pool with lovely views.
The Apartment is spacious which is always important to us as a family.
