Superb 2 bedroom luxury apartment, sleeps 4

This fantastically placed 2 bedroom apartment has recently been entirely renovated and refurbished giving guests a new kitchen, bathroom and living area. I am very happy with the finish on the apartment and I know that my guests will just love it!

The apartment is in the perfect location to explore the sights and sounds of Ireland's vibrant capital city. Offering safe and secure accommodation for 4 people (1 double bed & 1 bunk bed with doule bottom and single top). The extra accommodation is to provide familys with sufficent space (there is also a travel cot provided for infants), there is a maximum of 4 adults per stay. Fresh bed linen and towels are supplied. This apartment is also my home and as such it is kept to the highest standards allowing guests five star luxury within the ease and comfort of a home from home.

The apartment faces into a large courtyard garden that is ideal for relaxation and gives loads of space for kids to play. It also ensures that the apartment is quite while still in the centre of the action.

Satellite TV with DVD player and Wii entertainment system and a selection of board games are available for those lazy days! It is a 3rd floor apartment and there is a lift.

As the property is managed by the owner I am always available should you have any inquiries during your stay. As such I am always willing to accommodate you with regard to dates and prices subject to availability, get in touch and we'll do our best.

Please note that bookings made for dates directly preceeding the previous guest will always get preference, the apartment is not run by an agency and as such we must maximise its occupancy.

Local area: Everything for an enjoyable stay is at your doorstep, from pubs and clubs to concerts, art and culture.

There are great walks to be found in Phoenix Park (Europe's largest urban park). If you are thirsty after your long walk we can supply you with local knowledge of the finest watering holes the city has to offer!

The free Dublin bicycle scheme has been a great addition to the city and allows the freedom to explore further afield. There are several stations close at hand.

Should you have any special requests let us know and we will do our best to point you in the right direction, otherwise take your time to stroll around and enjoy all the city has to offer in the safe knowledge that you are only a stones throw from home. Enjoy your stay.

I live in the same apartment block so I am always close by if you have any problems and Aliona, my fantastic houskeeper, always ensures that everything is in tip top order for your arrival.

The apartment was optimally located and a perfect place for our trip!

This was a nice break from hotels, as we had our own place to relax and feel like home. Beds were comfortable, apartment was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a washer to clean a few things needed. Kitchen wasn’t used by us, but could have been useful! Our party was a couple and a single, and the two bedrooms were perfect! Helped us to really enjoy Dublin, having this little “home base” to go back to!

Excellent location

The location could not have been better. Walking distance to everything.

Excellent communication with the owner. Detailed directions for the taxi driver. A previous review indicated that there was a smell in the unit. It is not true. The neighbors cook Indian or Pakistani foods, so an odor lingers a bit in the common hallway...but the rental unit itself is not effected by it. This two bedroom condo suited our family well.

great location

this is a great location, away from the Temple Bar nightlife but close enough to get to all the fun. The one bed is comfortable; I understand one other one is not. The décor is fine. The kitchen is functional. The bathroom, however, has mold. There was mold when we arrived and by the time we left there was additional mold on the ceiling.

Perfect location but apartment needs updating! Smell needs sorting too!

Will start with the good bits:

Location is perfect- so close to everything; within walking distance of pubs, restaurants, tram, train etc. Beds were also comfy and Apple TV was available on a huge tv. And that's about it.

Not so good:

The smell in the apartment (mainly in kitchen/living room area) was horrible. Dirty/mouldy/old food? Don't know how to describe it but it was horrible and didn't disappear throughout our stay. I had to bleach the sink in the kitchen when I arrived because it was dirty and smelly, mouldy in shower and on bathroom ceiling, had to constantly turn the heating up as temperature was set so low. Oven was filthy dirty so didn't attempt to use, some of the crockery was also dirty. Although beds were comfy the sheets were stained and had a hole in sheet in main bedroom. Carpet out in main hall of apartment building was loose so our 2 year old constantly tripped up.

Blinds in bedrooms don't actually fit (luckily we'd taken black out blind for the baby) so we had to hang a sheet up, hair dryer was slow. Sounds like silly things but a lot of small things seem to add up to the owner not really caring about who is staying in the apartment.

Things like no bin bags and limited toilet rolls also didn't help.

We use Owners Direct all the time (we have 3 other holidays booked this year through them) and we've never been disappointed but this apartment was definitely not as it was sold. What a shame!

Owner's Response: Wow! My first response to this was complete shock! I've never had a review like it so it just felt like a bad dream. Then I thought I'd better take a more measured approach in response. Firstly, and definitely most importantly, MY APARTMENT DOES NOT SMELL! I am personally offended that Holley claims that it did. Every measure is taken to ensure the apartment is spotless for each guest. Everything is cleaned top to bottom each time, all bed linen is washed, conditioned with fabric softener and ironed, all bed linen is of very high quality. All food stuffs are removed except for tea / coffee etc. The oven is spotless how she can say otherwise beggars belief. I did not meet with Holley but I did inspect the apartment before her arrival and after she left, there was no smell, I can not put it more emphatically than that. The heating is timed to come on for 6 hours throughout the day, it is set at 20 degrees Celcius. Thats 20C! I live in an apartment in the same complex, the weather is so mild I do not have my own heating on. Too cold Holley? Yes you can turn the heating up!!! Why is this an issue??? The blinds on the windows are in the pictures, judge for yourself. The hair dryer was too slow, really!?! Yes the carpet in the common area outside of my apartment needs to be replaced, the management company are aware of this but it in no way presents a danger and it is ridiculous to imply that it does. I checked with my brillant housekeeper Aliona, there was no dirty crockery. The one thing that Holley is correct on is that there were in fact no bin bags, my housekeeper simply forgot. It seems that for this crime I have been deducted 3 stars. Yes I am upset, mostly because Holley in her all knowing wisdom says I don't care. I've been very successfully running this apartment over the last number of years and have received many great reviews and met some lovely people. This does not happen by not caring! I told her, like I tell all guests, let me know if you need anything. I emphasise it all the time, she chose instead to write what I can only describe as a mean spirited review rather than allow me to address any issues she may have had. I am very well travelled and have stayed in all places from a hammock to 5 star hotels. I know how important holidays are to people, and I know what value for money is. I strive to ensure that this is what guests get, look at the other reviews, judge for yourself. A rude, arrogant person.

Amazing location, right in heart of Dublin

We (3 adults) stayed here for 3 nights over NYE. Very cute apartment, in an enviable location a stones throw from the Ha'Penny Bridge. We were able to walk everywhere as location was so central - lots of bars and restaurants on door step, or a short walk to any less touristy places you might have in mind.

As it is so central we couldn't avoid hearing some of the night-time party people on the street below during the night, so if you're a light sleeper you might want to take ear plugs - but that is probably true of any central Dublin hotel or apartment on the weekend/holiday days. If you want silence i suggest sleeping well away from the city!

Apartment owner Jonny was very helpful and responded instantly to any question we had. Apartment itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The only con I can think of is that there isn't a dining table so if you are planning on eating in a lot then this might not be the right place for you - but if you just need a base to explore the city from then this place is perfect for that! Apartment block also very secure and safe feeling. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Superb 2 bedroom Dublin city centre luxury apartment. Quite and secure in the heart of Dublin city, this luxury apartment has all that a discerning visitor could want on their doorstep, restaurants, pubs, live music, concerts, superb shopping, history and culture.

Enjoy the short stroll to 'Trinity College' or 'Christ Church Cathedral'. The National Gallery, National Museum and numerous galleries are all within easy reach, as is The Abbey Theatre along with numerous other theatres, cinemas and venues. If shopping is your thing we are located 100 m from the shopping haven of Henry St. and only 400 m from the famous shopping mecca of Grafton St.

When it comes to night life this luxury apartment is only 100 m from the hub of Temple Bar, however you can still get a quite nights sleep by returning over the Ha'penny Bridge to peace and quite after a hectic night out.

Simply put this luxury apartment could not be in a better located.

Golf: Dublin is well serviced with private and public courses (subject to green fees).

There is also the world famous K Club Ryder Cup course nearby (40 min by car), and the beautiful Druids Glen course in Wicklow (40 min by car).
