Lovely studio apartment on Ship Street Gardens in the heart of the famous Lanes

This bright and spacious lower ground floor apartment comes fully equipped and can sleep up to 4 people* making it ideal for both holiday and corporate lets. (* NB: 7 night maximum booking for 4 guests, no maximum for 2 guests)

The space

Kitchen Area: The compact kitchen features sleek red gloss units with two ring hob, combination microwave oven, integrated dishwasher, integrated fridge with freezer compartment plus toaster and kettle. There’s also plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses, saucepans and cooking utensils.

Workspace: The table offers a useful workspace and folds out to make a dining table for four using the chairs provided.

Living Area: Corner sofa which easily converts into a comfy double bed. Opposite there's new (in 2018) 32" HD Smart TV on an adjustable wall bracket with built in DVD player, free access to our Netflix account plus all the UK catch up and on demand channels. Sound is courtesy of a quality soundbar with Bluetooth connectivity for access to your own music devices.

Bedroom Area: Hotel quality King size bed with cosy bedding, 4 pillows and storage drawers below. There’s also a useful walk-in wardrobe with shelves, hanging rail and chest of drawers.

Shower room: This sleek hotel style shower room comes with corner shower cubicle, wash hand basin with drawers below as well as a heated towel rail and WC. We also provide complimentary Duck Island shower gel and liquid hand soap.

Bits and Bobs: There is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer just outside in the courtyard which is shared with Brighton Lanes Studio 2 next door. There’s also a secure bike rack behind the entrance gate for those wishing to explore Brighton from the top of a saddle.

Other things to note:

(1) STREET NOISE AT WEEKENDS: If you’re looking for total peace and quiet, please be aware that we are right in the centre of Brighton’s Old Town and it can get quiet noisy out on the streets around our building throughout Friday and Saturday nights. All of this is beyond our control - however, our prices do reflect this fact as similar apartments in Brighton rent for over £100/night. That said, the studio has double glazing and we even provide ear plugs for the really light sleepers. In reality, you are far more likely to be disturbed by Brighton’s seagull population who never seem to sleep!

(2) HOME SAFETY: We are professional landlords and as such you can be assured that the whole building (containing five apartments all of which we own) meets all current safety standards. The building is also protected by a modern, fully maintained fire detection system with smoke and heat detectors in each apartment connected to a control panel in the communal hallway. The system is tested every Thursday morning by our contractors at Brighton Fire Alarms.

Great location

The location was perfect right in the heart of shops, restaurants and bars. The studio apartment was perfect for our needs and vert comfortable and warm. An excellent weekend.

Wonderful stay!

The studio is adorable!.. everything is new and modern and very comfortable. The location is the best, in The Lanes! It's close to everything walking distance to a ton hobby shops, restaurants and pubs, and a block away from the seafront, excellent location! I was very pleased with my state and cannot wait to go back in the very near future! Also James (owner) and Graeme (Mgr) are very prompt with answers to any questions! Thanks again.. Cheers!

Un appart au TOP au coeur des Lanes, propre, chaleureux et fonctionnel on ne peut pas rêver mieux à Brighton ! James est super réactif et disponible pour conseiller les bons plans et Graeme que nous avons eu la chance de croiser à notre arrivée est un amour !

PARKING: Parking is very expensive across the whole city so we recommend coming down to Brighton by train or coach. Brighton Station is just 10/15 minutes walk away or a couple of minutes (and about £6) by taxi. The nearest secure carpark to us is The Lanes carpark on Black Lion Street BN1 1ND where it costs £25 for 24 hours. The best & cheapest option is to pre-book your parking in advance with Regency Secure Parking on Regency Mews, BN1 2HF which is only 10 mins walk (or 1/2 a mile) from us. 24 hours parking here costs £14 and a whole week is just £83. Search http://www.regencysecureparking.co.uk where you can book online. More public carpark information is available on Brighton & Hove City Council’s website in their parking section (www.brighton-hove.gov.uk). Also try Googling Parkopedia’s website as it offers special deals on parking across Brighton & Hove including the odd private space for hire (www.en.parkopedia.co.uk).
