About Sharon

I love the Cornish Countryside, I have lived in Newhall Green for 29 years. I keep Rare Breed Golden Guernsey Goats, Ryeland Sheep, Alpacas, Angora goats, chickens, geese and ducks. I process the fleece from the sheep to use in spinning, knitting, weaving and needle felting. I use the goats milk in goats milk soap, cheese and yoghurt. My products are sold locally in Boscastle Farm Shop. I love my animals!

Why Sharon chose Saint Teath

Why do we love living here? It's beautiful and peaceful, tucked away in the valley, but we can still walk to the pub or shop if we want to, and we are only 10 minutes from the nearest beach.

What makes this apartment unique

The Nest is perfectly situated for a relaxing break in the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Beautiful countryside to walk in or fantastic beaches to stroll along - perfect!

Welcoming idyllic retreat

  • 5 of 5

Spotlessly clean with a warm welcome from Sharon. Small touches such as milk, fresh eggs and lovely flowers. Very peaceful location in beautiful countryside with their rare breed animals as neighbours. Will recommend to our friends.

Fabulous break perfectly placed for Port Isaac etc

  • 5 of 5

If we could give it 12 out of 10 we would do so. Wish we had booked for longer. Really comfortable, very private, top quality furnishing and Sharon is just lovely in every way

Quaint cottage, perfect for couples, great location!

  • 5 of 5

I'm so impressed with everything about our stay. From the initial communication (I was less than hopeful when I asked if we could bring five whippets, but being a dog person herself, Sharon said it was fine!), to the little extra's like having hot cross buns waiting for us in the kitchen on arrival, with fresh eggs & milk in the fridge.

The cottage is in a perfect location for us with our friends in Polzeath & Wadebridge. Lots of lovely walks for the hounds very locally, with some well reviewed pubs close by too. It's in a tiny village so super quiet too.

It's a cosy cottage, furnished beautifully with everything you need (plenty of things to cook and eat with, iron, tv, wifi) including a secure courtyard for dogs. We would go again!

Private, peaceful and the perfect getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We did get a little lost but that just made our break even more enjoyable as we wanted to escape. Sharon greeted us with a great smile and welcome. This place was so perfect for us and the little touches like fresh eggs (from Sharon's chickens) and milk were much appreciated. The accommodation is compact but everything you can think of is provided. On opening the curtains I. The morning your faced with a view of alpacas, goats and chickens and more I was in heaven! It was a perfect base to explore that area of Cornwall and apart from a walk around the beautiful port Isaac we discovered that the fish and chip shop in nearby delabole has the best fish and chips ever!!! We would and will recommend this place to everyone thank you so much. X
