The neighborhood

Paseo de Gracia, (Passeig de Gràcia as we say in catalan) has a lot to offer, nice shops and restaurants and it´s pretty authentic and local as well. You have Plaza Catalunya just 2 minutes away and the Ramblas around the corner. The apartment is pretty quiet since it is on the top and thus far away from the noisy streets and heading towards the typical Eixample patio.

You will be able to admire examples of the Modernist style that dominated the buildings along Passeig de Gràcia during ages; these buildings were designed by Gaudí, Domenech i Montaner, Puig i Cadafalch, Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas and many other architects from last century.

Today, Passeig de Gràcia continues to be one of the most, if not the most important, avenues in Barcelona. The Modernist buildings have been restored and the ground floors boast restaurants, coffee shops, jewellery stores and leading fashion houses including Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Armani, Cartier, Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent and many others.

Getting around

Metro is just around the corner, Passeig de Gràcia (L3 - L4) or Plaza Catalunya (L3)Taxi it's also very common and available anytime.Bus routes as well as touristic bus routes are available around the corner.

Other things to note

Important note: Because I have a touristic licence for my apartment, I require that all my guests after they confirm a booking with me, send me a scan of their passport. This is because according to the law in Catalunya, we as hosts are obliged to forward this information to the National State Police (Mossos D'Escuadra). Please note that all legal and registered touristic establishments such as hotels, hostels, bed & breakfast, etc, have to do the same as well. Thank you for your understanding.

HOUSE RULES

Dear guest,

I would like to ask you to respect to my flat as if it was your own home. Let me know your arrival time as soon as you can, so I can arrange for a smooth check-in. Normally, you can CHECK-IN from 17.00 pm, but if you arrive earlier, we will surely find a solution, depending on availability of the cleaning women and other groups, at least for leaving your luggage before that but after 11.00 (should not be a problem).

The same is true for late CHECK-OUT: I will try to adapt to your needs as much as I can. Please respect the neighbors and do not make noise after 21.00 o'clock; always close the elevator door when using it and please switch off the lights and air conditioning when leaving. Please no pets and no smoking in the house! This will have as consequence a €250 fine. Please no drugs or other on the premises.

The keys will be handed over at the apartment in order to make it easier for you. Please note that I will have a person to help with LATE CHECK-INS (after 22.00 / 8pm). Here an additional fee of 20 euros is charged between 20h and 22h, between 22h and 24h a fee of 30 euros, and 50 euros after 24h.

Feel at home, but please keep in mind that there are neighbors around who deserve some rest. To secure a peaceful living environment, please keep the volume at a tolerable level, especially between 21pm and 8am. So if your night does not end at that time, I would like to ask you to turn down the music or leave the flat and set off for a night out in the city. Should you get into trouble with the neighbors or the police because of noise nuisance, I will find myself forced to retain the entire safety deposit, plus you would be 100% responsible of any additional expenses that the inconvenience might cause, such as physical or non-material damages.

Remember also to leave all the keys on the table at the entrance and close the door after you when checking out. Check before leaving that all air conditioners (ACs), lights and television, etc are turned off and please take your garbage with you and throw them in the grey bins you will find outside on the street.

Amazing property. Light, open, airy, great views. Property manager is a gem. Will plan to go again.

Flat has an amazing amount of space. Very well appointed/comfortable. Property management staff was very attentive to our requests (incl early arrival). All very friendly. Views onto Passeig de Gracia are the best to be had. Building is impressive, secure, all very professional. Couldnt have been better.
