One delight we have found is the Bell Vue Pub(see picture),this pub has amazing views from the cliff top and Sandwich over to Dover and has a safe patio area to the rear,the pub has won awards for best pub in Thanet.If you want to dine out in style there are many restaurants in 5minutes walk such as Indian, Thai, Italian, Greek, Good Old Fish and Chips.
The Harbour has been renovated and now Wetherspoons has prime position with views over The Channel with upstairs and downstairs dining. Opposite are fun amusement arcades and a Belgian bar and sells a number of Beers which you won't recognise.
The location for this apartment to our mind is perfect, situated in between a walk to Pegwell Bay and picturesque Broadstairs both walk-able distances see pictures. Access to the harbour is 10-15 mins, there are amusements, Fish and Chip bars and seaside kiosks selling buckets and spades and other fun stuff for the kids. Duncan Bannatyne breathed some magic and sunk a large investment in a boating and children’s play area it's FAB! only10 mins walk from the apartment, this of course depends on the length of your legs.. Ramsgate beach is vast and has beautiful sands.
For those of you that enjoy Tennis there is a Court with Cafe and hiring facilities for racquets and balls in Spencer Square (2 mins walk)
Both Clive and Loretta owners use it when available to switch off from business life.
Our apartment is approximately 10-15 min. walk to the harbour, the harbour is full of eateries, trendy coffee bars and restaurants, Ramsgate in our opinion is another Brighton waiting to happen. I sold the apartments myself and was so impressed with the position we decided to buy most probably the best on the development, from the living area it looks onto the main electric gated entrance (see picture) from a Juliet balcony
The apartment is 10 minutes walk to a very good Waitrose, the town has usual banks, jewellers, estate agents, very local friendly newsagent open until 11pm, and all usual amenities close at hand, it has local access to Westwood Cross a 'Mini Bluewater' with excellent Vue cinema, Casino, eateries and one of the best value for money quality Carvery's we have experienced. The apartment is 10 minutes drive from Kent International Airport and has access to Ramsgate Network Rail, Eurotunnel, Eurostar, Dover Ferry, Ramsgate Ferry (short walk or drive), and the Beautiful town of Sandwich. The main Motorway and major roads lead to the M2 A2 to London, M20 and M25 for Gatwick and Heathrow M4.
