The Naseby Suite is a one-bedroom self-catering suite within 17th Century Orton Hall sharing the wood panelled Great Hall and lawns and woodland outside. The Naseby Suite, on the first floor, offers modern comforts in a period setting and is ideally located for a special weekend away or a longer relaxing holiday stay or a base from which to explore the fabulous scenery of the Lake District or Yorkshire Dales National Parks.
The open plan living room is equipped with a TV and DVD and a library of books and DVDs plus a dining table in front of the wide window seat from where you can watch the wildlife on the lawns below through the stone mullioned windows. The bedroom has a king-size bed with space for a travel cot to sleep a toddler or baby. The en-suite bathroom has a bath with an electric shower over, WC and sink.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and plenty of pots, pans and crockery. You can eat out in a number of good eateries locally, including the village pub which is only 300 metres away. Other pubs and restaurants are within easy reach by car.
The Great Hall, with pool table, baby grand piano and an imposing fireplace is a great area to relax in. Complementary membership of the North Lakes Spa in Penrith is included in the price of your break, offering an indoor swimming pool, fully equipped gym, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi.
