The apartment is located at the very beginning of Calle Carabeo, very close to the Balcon de Europa. Located in the first floor, the whole apartment is built around its own patio and therefore extrmely quiet, isolated from the outside noise.

American style kitchen with bar beside the salon, which opens to another patio furnished with table and chairs. From here the stairs lead up to the big private roof terrace with mountain and partial sea views. Roof terrace is furnished with a lounge area, deck-chairs, parasol and dinning table.

Apartment has international satellite TV and spanish cable programms, and free WiFi (high-speed optic fibre).

About Frank Veit & Galit Amiel

We live since 2010 in Nerja and specialised in the rental of villas and apartments in Calle Carabeo, Nerja's best address if you want to stay in the Old Town and directly by the beaches. We both love animals and worked for many years with wild dolphins in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, before we decided to move to a tranquil sea town in Andalusia. Being now a team of seven, we have our office in the middle of the street and provide service on seven days a week, twelve month a year.

For those who know Nerja, the street of Carabeo is very famous and prime location. First line on the cliffs to the sea, it is the old fishermen's street of the town. Now a pedestrian, there are still many locals living in the street. Yet you are right in the center.

What makes this apartment unique

Special about this apartment is its quietness despite its central location. All the rooms windows face a private patio, not shared by anyone. The house has three apartments, of which the other two face the street. This one is facing inside, yet has a lot of light due to two patios. And the highlight of the apartment is its private roof terrace with great views.

Nerja is loved for being an authentic Andalusian town right at the sea, a very rare combination. Not like a typical tourist resort, here many locals are still living in the streets, filling them with life not only in summer, but also in winter. The majority of bars, restaurants and shops are open the whole year.

The combination of having the best climate of all continental Europe due to its extremely mild winters, together with wind-protected beaches in the famous bays of Nerja, makes this town a top destination for visitors from all over the world, 12 month a year.

East of Nerja starts the Maro-Cerro Gordo Coastal Nature Park. A stretch of coast not spoiled by 'modern' architecture, but boasting mostly pure nature. You can explore it from land by driving, biking, or hiking the old national road to reach fantastic wild beaches, observe the many ibex that move to the green valleys, and discover the plenty of orchid species growing here. Or you explore it from the sea by renting a kayak in Nerja and paddle along grottos, a waterfall, and spectacular cliffs.

To the back of Nerja you have the vast space of yet another mountainous national park – the Sierra de Almijara. It is a perfect place for hiking tours, river and canyon walks or mountain biking.

Inland and easy to reach by car or bus there are small mountain villages, many dating from the Moorish period and over a thousand years old. Our neighbour village of Frigliana, just 7 km away, is listed as one of the most beautiful villages of all Spain. Definitely worth a visit, and easily reached by a local bus.

Cycling becomes also more and more popular in the area due to excellent streets along the coasts and into the mountains. There is also the possibility to rent bicycles from the leisure user to the professional cyclist, both mountain and street bikes.
