Spacious attractive ground floor apartment with stunning views over the Gullane Golf Courses. Situated in the beautiful seaside village of Gullane in the heart of Scotland's Golf Coast, the apartment is only minutes' walk away from local restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops and three golf courses. The apartment sleeps 6, one double and two twin-bedded rooms and a single folding bed in the large open plan sitting/dining area. Gullane is renowned for lovely beaches, childrens' golf course, cycling and walking.
Perfect accommodation for golfing holiday, family holidays near the beach and for walking, cycling and touring holidays as well as being an excellent base for visiting Edinburgh, East Lothian and the Borders.
The apartment has an attractive large open-plan sitting and dining area, double bedroom, two twin-bedded bedrooms, two shower rooms (one en suite in one of the twin-bedded rooms) and a well kitted-out kitchen. There is also a folding bed in the open plan sitting area. The kitchen contains dish washing and clothes washing (and drying) machines. French windows open out to a small patio area belonging to the apartment. The garden area is communal without fencing so may not be suitable for some pets. One parking space is available for use by guests and (depending on general demand) there may also be an available 'visitor' parking space which could be used free of charge for an additional car. The apartment has wifi and two TVs. While there is a main door entrance into the apartment from within the apartment building itself, we usually access the apartment through the french window entrance to the front of the building. The apartment is wheelchair-friendly and contains some aids for the disabled including a suitable shower.
The price depends on the number of guests staying (giving in effect a discount for less than 6) to encourage, for example, a couple to take the apartment.
We are very lucky to have excellent restaurants and pubs within 3 to 5 minutes walk. The Old Clubhouse has great pub meals; The Main Course is an excellent very popular restaurant. A little further way (but still within walking distance) is The Golf Inn and two other very well known restaurants, Chez Roux at Greywalls Hotel and La Potiniere.
Edinburgh is only 45 minutes away by car. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the local bus stop with direct routes into Edinburgh and North Berwick. Drem railway station is only 5 minutes' drive away and there are regular services into Edinburgh.
