2 bed 2 bath en-suite with spa bath, sleeps 4 in exclusive gated resort

Our large luxurious apartment is located in the gated resort of Coto Real just a few minutes from La Duquesa Marina, the wonderful beaches and the Duquesa Golf & Country Club. Being a raised ground floor apartment it is ideally suited to couples, families with children of all ages and for those who have restricted mobility. It is fully air conditioned/heated and has marble floors throughout. It has 2 bedrooms, one double with direct access to the terrace with an en-suite bathroom and one twin with a private bathroom. We provide linen, towels & beach towels. The large lounge & dining room has luxurious furnishings including satellite TV, DVD & Wi-Fi and direct access to the terrace. The kitchen is fully fitted including dishwasher and washing machine. Outside there is a large terrace ideal for 'al fresco' dining with direct access to the gardens and pool area where there is a swimming pool, children's pool, umbrellas and sunbeds. There is secure underground parking.

We can visit whenever we want and also able to share it with guests who respect it is our home and want a "home from home" experience in beautiful surroundings

Exactly as advertised

Apart from the weather and a few days of rain (well it was January) we had a very pleasant break away from the UK and the apartment was exactly as advertised. The apartment was indeed luxuriously furnished and it has a huge terrace which is part sun and part shade so perfect for any time of the day. The plus was seeing some amazing sunrises over the ocean.

There is certainly plenty to do from Golf to just chilling around the Marina and for those wanting culture there are plenty of nearby villages to visit and for those who like to shop plenty of that at nearby Estapona or a bit further along towards Malaga

2nd stay, still great

It was our 2nd stay and it was great again.

The apartment was really clean and in the main, the pool was very quiet.

The apartment is nicely situated for the port of Duquesa and 20min drive from Estepona.

I can't recommend this apartment enough. I might be back next year!

Fantastic well proportioned clean modern apartment

We were two adults one child and a grandparent and could not have been happier with our stay. The apartment is modern, clean and well laid out. The complex is well maintained and quiet so ideal for families that want to avoid the more noisy parts of the area. The beach is very close (a brisk 15 minute walk) but I would recommend a car, as you'll find driving there far easier especially with younger kids and older adults, also you'll need to drive to the supermarkets etc.

The apartment has an excellent internet based TV system with a really excellent array of Sky TV (and a decent number of international) options, which is brilliant when it's too hot for kids to be in the sun, or when they've come home shattered from the beach and just want to watch a cartoon or a movie There is also a DVD player if you want to bring your own movies.

The only thing I'd say could improve the apartment would be the addition of a BBQ, with such wonderful produce available in the local markets it would be nice to be able to grill fish etc on the terrace - but this is only a minor gripe and overall it's a really very agreeable place and we will certainly return.

Perfect in every way

There's no word to explain. We certainly enjoyed every moment of our stay in your apartment. The teenage girls were happy enough to just laze around the pool and enjoy the quiet and tranquility of the whole area. The security people were so helpful and friendly and not to forget Steve Maye who made sure that everything in the apartment was up to the standard. We will certainly make sure that we tell our friends and pass the word around and no doubt in my mind that we will be returning to this beautiful haven.

Lovely place

Really really nice place to stay.

The pictures you see on the website are exactly as you find the apartment, which is very clean, modern and spacious.

A short walk to the pool from the apartment and I couldn't believe how quiet it was for school holidays. But getting away from a stressful life to absolute peace and quiet was in fact bliss. I thought the kids would get bored but they chilled out even more than I did.

The port of Duquesa is 20 mins walk away, downhill, the walk back is uphill so younger kids may find it tough.

If I went back to the area again I would have no hesitation in booking this apartment again.

Great Apartment & Helpful Owners

Just recently back from a short notice mini break to Coto Real. The owners (Chris & Susan) were really helpful. The apartment is very nice with a huge balcony/terrace. We enjoyed the short walk to and from the marina to work off the wine & tapas, but plenty of taxi's were available if needed. We were also surprised by the fab weather, 28 degrees each day, just enough people on the beach - but not too many!

Located in the Duquesa Golden Mile in the foothills of La Duquesa on the Costa del Sol our apartment is in the exclusive gated resort of Coto Real. When you visit us you will understand why Puerto de la Duquesa really is Spain's best kept Mediterranean secret. A few minutes away from the marina and uncrowded blue flag beaches you have access to a whole range of water sports including sailing and windsurfing. Walking or just relaxing on the lovely beaches is a great way to spend time with the family. Being on the Costa del Golf we are 'next door' to La Duquesa Golf & Country Club and within striking distance of another 40 excellent courses. For sight seeing, within easy reach are Cesares, Ronda, Porto Banus, Marbella, Sotogrande and of course Gibraltar from where you can take a trip to Morocco. For the children Selwo Adventure Park is 15 minutes away with many other theme parks in the locality. The La Duquesa Marina hosts a wide range of affordable restaurants and bars.
