My name is Dave and I run this property with my brother Tone and we both are local and grew up in the Felixstowe area. We operate a small shipping company and are renting out this property to encourage the regeneration of the seaside trade in Suffolk and Felixstowe. This is a beautiful coastal town and we want people to come and enjoy it knowing they have a comfortable home during their stay.
David Lenton purchased this apartment in 1998
This is a great property. Fresh, calm, close to everything and cosy in those winter nights. It is a must for a romantic weekend, a must for that long weekend and a must for a family on a budget. The spec of the flat is high and the nature in how it is presented is how we want you to feel; calm, relaxed, safe and happy. We enjoyed putting this together for our guests and hope you all enjoy it.
This flat is situated just back from the cliff over looking the bay. A lovely part of the town which is in the conservation area. Old buildings, a post office two minutes away, restaurants on tap and great for a morning run along the prom. Come and see for yourselves.
Being central to town and so close to the sea there are plenty of things to do, restaurants to visit and shopping to be had. Within 5 minutes walk you have the choice of Indian, Chinese, Turkish, Vietnamese, Italian and Mediterranean cuisines, a blend of small coastal boutique shops and artisan bakers and the normal main stream shops. Along the beach there is a leisure centre with a 25 metre pool, fun pool and gym, plus indoor bowls. The leisure centre is a busy hub with regular classes in most exercises. Adjacent to this is the new pier complex (opening Aug 2017) with fun for all the family and food and viewing areas. The prom runs end to end about 2 miles and a nice walk. The far end from the flat has a fantastic outdoor play area for children called 'Martello Park' and is also close to a wildlife reserve where you can spot birds and enjoy the open sea air. Moving back towards to the flat you will see amusements, crazy golf, bouncy slide and many family entertainment and fish and chips bars. The other end of the prom (east of the pier) is more affluent and has a good bistro bar called the Alex which is two minutes from the flat. This offers good breakfasts and all day food, plus a more refined dining experience upstairs. Worth a visit. Likewise Hatchette is a nice eatery a few yards along which also offers a decent feed. The Spa Pavilion just further along is the local theatre and has regular shows and concerts throughout the year. This follows on to the beautiful spa gardens which is always worth a visit to admire the Victorian landscaping and seasonal flowers. Lined with beach huts the prom continues up a beautiful hotel/ Bar called The Fludyers which offers fresh fish, Lovely all day food and fine dining in the evening. This place is a must visit. With an outdoor area it is great on a summers day, although it can get cold so worth taking a jumper.
For those who want to walk beyond the prom continues further and goes on to the beach for a short time before it continuing all the way down to the OId Felixstowe Ferry fishing hamlet. A fantastic walk and worth the time where you can buy fresh fish on the beach, enjoy great food at the Ferry Boat Inn and enjoy an all day breakfast at either Winkles or the Ferry Cafe.
Felixstowe is a wonderful place to visit and No3 Stanley is the ideal place to stay while in town. It is a independent flat of penthouse standard at a fraction of the cost. Ideal for families and couples. If on business it is perfect. With unlimited broadband, wifi and good for private meetings it caters for all. We look to welcoming you soon.
