Excellent property and great location
What a beautiful property. We stayed here for 4 nights with 6 adults and 1 baby. There was plenty space for us
There is a bus stop directly beside the complex which takes you straight into the city centre.
Well equipped apartment with ample parking, and exceptional views.
It was a pleasure for us to have you stay, we thank you for the positive review and look forward to seeing you again in the future.
Apartment is really nice, hostess are wonderful. Love it!! Definitely a place to stay.
Very well furnished apartment with stunning view in a great location.
I stayed here for 2 nights over the Easter holidays with my husband, our two children and also my parents and brother. The appartment is furnished to a high standard. The view is spectacular. The Royal Yacht and the attached shopping centre is within easy walking distance and the bus stop into Princess Street is just across the road. The owner was on hand to answer any questions we had and also greeted us on arrival. The rooms were spotless and beds very comfy. Kitchen was extensively equipped to cook if you wanted to.The open plan aspect also makes it an ideal place for a large family to be together, but with private bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall we loved this place and would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic apartment in good location
We had a wonderful time staying at Manal's property. The apartment is spacious and clean with stunning views over the forth. There were 8 of us staying and there was plenty room for a group of this size.
Manal and her husband were warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. We will definetely be back👍
Beautiful waterfront stay!
What can I say about Manal and Richard's home? From the moment we arrived we had attentive care to make sure we had everything we needed. The property itself is gorgeous with breathtaking views throughout. The apartment has everything you may need. The location is great with a bustop just outside of your doorstep to take you into the center city. I wish we had more days to spend here. Thank you Manal and Richard!
We are delighted that you found the Penthouse apartment and views breathtaking, it is so hard to put a clear description of the apartment into words, even the professional pictures do not give the actual feel of the place, only by living there can you experience the true uniqueness. Your opinion is so important, Thank you. Edinburgh must have the best transport system in Europe, the fact that the bus stop is so close to the apartment provides an ideal transport hub, in fact we clearly state that visitors do not need a car to visit any activity in Edinburgh. We hope to see you again.
Two nights at the Waterfront.
We were greeted by Richard the owner who will do anything to accommodate your needs or requests. He introduced us to this great 3 bedroomed apartment situated on the 6th floor with fantastic balcony views towards the Forth road bridges to the left and out to sea to the right. Great panoramic view with great sunset potential to the west to be captured on film or phone. Views of Edinburgh Castle from the kitchen and from two rear facing bedrooms. The kitchen and these bedrooms overlook an inner courtyard/garden seating area and the other apartments. The kitchen facilities are of a high standard and have everything one would need. Washing and clothes drying facilities are housed in a spacious separate cupboard area beside the front door access. The lounge has a fantastic seating arrangement with a large TV screen. Although Sky TV is not present there are a host of channels provided through BT. Overall the apartment is extremely spacious and the heating system is more than adequate.
The underground car parking is a bonus but there are ample car parking spaces above ground aswell. Local buses run from the main access road only 200 yards or so from the apartment block entrance.
We had a fantastic experience staying here and will almost certainly return with any future visits to Edinburgh and will recommend this apartment to all our friends and family.
Thank you Richard & Manal.
Stephen was the perfect guest, in all aspects. If Stephen is the type of guest we can expect through Home and away we would be delighted to welcome them.
Look forward to seeing Stephen again.
Leith is a vivacious area jam-packed with delicious delis, chic drinking spots, and top restaurants boasting some of Scotland’s finest chefs. The district asserts a jovial attitude and hosts an eclectic mix of people and cultures, making each a visit a unique experience.
The area is famed as the location of the 5-star Royal Yacht Britannia, a fascinating royal residence berthed alongside Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre. Leith also boasts a rich creative culture and is home to various independent and contemporary galleries, such as the Corn Exchange Gallery. Various cultural festivals such as the Leith Festival and the Edinburgh Mela take place here throughout the year, and the area even has its own radio station.
Though Leith can be easily reached by bus, one of the best ways to visit is to take a leisurely stroll along the Water of Leith Walkway. This charming footpath borders the river from Balerno to Leith and emerges at the Shore, an upmarket area lined with bistros, stylish bars, traditional pubs and first-rate restaurants.
The mile-long Leith Walk links the district with the east end of Princes Street and offers a shopping experience like no other in the capital – locals proudly boast that there is little to nothing you won’t be able to find on this street.
