Bluebell cottage sits adjacent to the ever popular Primrose Cottage on a working farm in a quiet location. Situated between the villages of Towton and Barkston Ash. This single storey cottage, which is newly converted, has been carefully refurbished to create a wonderful holiday home. An ideal spot from which to explore the North Yorkshire area and beyond. With three bedrooms it comfortably sleeps 6 people, and has a well equipped kitchen (including a washing machine), WIFI, TV and parking.

Storage can be arranged for bicycles, golf clubs or fishing equipment.

Well behaved dogs are accepted - please note this is a working farm, and dogs must be kept on a lead at all times around the farm.

Please note farmyard noises are to be expected.

A charming 3 bedroom cottage in the countryside that accommodated 3 adults and 2 children suberbly!

We stayed for 3 nights on a weekend bank holiday recently and throughly enjoyed our stay. James and Toni were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough to help us make the most of our stay. It was a great touch they had hot cross buns ready on the table when we arrived along with milk in the fridge!

The accommodation is clean, great comfortable beds and a shower you feel like staying in forever.

As it is a working farm it's great for families who have kids if they wish to see some of the animals 🐄?🐴?as James is only too happy to take you for a wander. Unfortunately our two missed their chance due to over packed days out and opening of the heavens ☔

Keep up the good and I would highly recommend to others as it is good value for money 👍?

Lovely accommodation close to York

Great accommodation very clean and fully equipped. Owner very welcoming and even took the children round to see the animals. It's only a twenty minute drive to the park and ride at most and the price difference is massive. The only criticism would be there is very limited comfortable seating as other than the dining room table there is only one large sofa but it didn't really matter that much for a two night stay. Overall I would stay again without hesitating.

Immaculate accommodation, conveniently located, considerate hosts, great stay

Property perfect for our stay, lovely hosts, even thought to put some milk in the fridge, kindly offered to show the children the calves that had been born during the night! Would highly recommend if you are looking to stay in the area, very convenient for the Park and Ride into York. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Lovely property

Lovely property, beautifully presented and very helpful owners. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that more comfortable seating in the lounge area would have been nice for our party of 4 adults. We would definitely stay here again.
