You can’t do better than to stay here!

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was well equipped, warm and cosy. It was quiet and peaceful. The owners could not have been nicer in accommodating us when the snow badly delayed the holiday. If you don’t stay here, you are enduring second best as it just cannot be beaten.

Lovely cosy cottage

  • 5 of 5

Such a lovely cosy cottage with beautiful surroundings and perfectly located to call base camp. We loved our weeks stay at Elm Place. It was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with mod cons, kitchen had everything, beds were memory foam, powerful showers, and overall very clean.

Sally the property manager was very friendly and approachable, she bent over backwards to make our stay perfect, even got my washing in on a raining day. My son still misses her lovely dog and we have been back a week.

We will definitely be back to stay in the future

Lovely property and location. A few small oversights re cleaning and fitting out.

  • 4 of 5

Cleaning oversights: old stale bread not cleared out, cobwebs in some windows and sills, Velux windows dirty around open margins.

Bedroom chairs would be useful.

Empty soap dispensers in bathrooms.

More mugs would facilitate dishwasher use!

Delightful property and location with very pleasant fixtures and fittings and high level of comfort.

A peaceful setting within a truly laid back island

  • 5 of 5

A great 6 day break. The property was first class in all respects. Location was amazing.....close to major cross island routes, but really peaceful. Wonderful scenery with plenty to occupy during the day. Some great restaurants and pubs in picture postcard locations. Plenty of countryside and coastal walks....and the weather was amazing. A really nice welcome from the property manager on arrival, who was also on hand most of the time to help with any issues (although none arose). My whole family enjoyed our stay and we plan to return at some point (something we rarely do on vacation).
