Overview

About the property

Three Bedroom Apartment, Great Charleston Location, Newly Renovated

This charming three bedroom totally renovated apartment is entered from the second floor piazza overlooking historic rooftops, set in the back, away from any street noise. The living/kitchen space combines a gorgeous new kitchen that opens into a comfortable, charming living room. It has a lovely antique desk, comfortable love seat and chairs, a breakfast table and an eating counter. The granite counter opens onto the brand new kitchen with granite counter tops, all new stainless steel appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and disposal, microwave) and a spacious pantry. Over the counter is a inch flat screen tv.

The three designer bedrooms have full closets and chests of drawers and dressing tables, bedside tables and reading lamps. One bedroom has a new king bed and the other two rooms have new queen size beds. The two bathrooms are easily accessed and have new granite counters, new sinks and marble floors. Tucked into one bathroom is a stack washer/dryer.

In one bedroom is a drop leaf antique mahogany table that can easily be set up for more formal dining in the living room and 6 lovely dining room chairs that complete the elegant setting.

The piazza is a typical charming Charleston feature and helps give our guests a true sense of being a "Charlestonian". We have seating for 6 where you can enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail after exploring the quaint streets, shops and restaurants.

There is parking for 1 to 3 cars. Next door to this apartment is another VRBO by the same owner with 3 bedrooms so the two rentals combine to make an ideal setting for a larger group.

This apartment is fresh, cozy, comfortable and tasteful. It has been inspired by one of the best, authentic Charleston designers.

Slightly north of the College of Charleston on historic St. Philip Street this charming apartment is the perfect base to enjoy an enchanting Charleston experience. Charleston is like Rome, Italy in that most of the notable monuments and historic details are found in a fairly contained area. You can literally walk from the apartment to the southernmost extremes of the Historic District in under thirty minutes. This journey will take you through the Historic King Street District and the neighborhoods of Cannonborough, Elliottborough, Radcliffborough, Harleston Village and finally South of Broad until you reach the Battery itself. Go east one block and you are on King Street, the home of designer shops, eclectic boutiques, antiques stores and a host of other fascinating shops as well as nationally acclaimed restaurants. Upper King is the new center of Charleston's renowned restaurant and night life. A recent survey of the "essential 18 Charleston Restaurants" has seven of there restaurats (Hominy Grill, Indago, The Grocery, The Macintosh, The Ordinary, Two Boroughs Larder, Xiao Bao Biscuit) within four block of the apartment.

We are excited to offer this attractive space on VRBO.

Please remember that when booking now or making payment we prefer "e"check as it is free for you and us to use. If you choose the credit card option then VRBO/HomeAway charges 2.9% on all monies run through Credit and that fee will be taken from your security deposit before return of the security deposit as we do offer a free option. That is the only reason we prefer "e"check as it is totally free and the way our account has been set up for years and us nor any of our tenants have had problems with the system as it is an extremely secure payment method. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Thank you, Jamie

Great place in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

This 3 bedroom worked out well for our group of 5. The location was accessible to King St and a 20-30 minute walk to many of the popular spots on E Bay St. We loved the outdoor patio space as well. The hosts were responsive and welcoming!

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

Well-appointed, comfortable beds, great linens and towels. Convenient location, but with some night-time street noise. Bathrooms are small. Off-street parking is a huge plus.

Cozy Classic

  • 5 of 5

We three were thrilled to find this classic “Charleston single”. It was roomy and comfortable and made us feel as though we’d found a home away from home. Everything we could have wanted was furnished and the owners were so responsive to anything we asked or might have wanted. It was close to some interesting restaurants and yet removed enough from all the downtown traffic and activity that it felt like a relaxing hideaway at the end of a hectic day of sightseeing.
