This charming three bedroom totally renovated apartment is entered from the second floor piazza overlooking historic rooftops, set in the back, away from any street noise. The living/kitchen space combines a gorgeous new kitchen that opens into a comfortable, charming living room. It has a brand new West Elm queen sofa sleeper with two matching club chairs, one more chair, and an eating counter with stools. The granite counter opens onto the brand new kitchen with granite counter tops, all new stainless steel appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and disposal, microwave) and a spacious pantry. Over the counter is a inch flat screen tv.
The three designer bedrooms have full closets and chests of drawers and dressing tables, bedside tables and reading lamps. One bedroom has a new king bed and the other two rooms have new queen size beds. The two bathrooms are easily accessed and have new granite counters, new sinks and marble floors. Tucked into one bathroom is a stack washer/dryer.
In one bedroom is a drop leaf antique mahogany table that can easily be set up for more formal dining in the living room and 6 lovely dining room chairs that complete the elegant setting.
The piazza is a typical charming Charleston feature and helps give our guests a true sense of being a "Charlestonian". We have seating for 6 where you can enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail after exploring the quaint streets, shops and restaurants.
There is parking for 1 to 3 cars. On the first floor is a newly renovated 2 bedroom/3 bathroom apartment and next door to these apartments is another VRBO by the same owner with 3 bedrooms. The three rentals combine to make an ideal setting for a larger group. The office of our property manager, Jamie, is in this building. She always receives rave reviews for her help in resolving your traveling issues. She will arrange your parking pass and can help you find a chef or book a fishing or sailing excursion. Just ask!
This apartment is fresh, cozy, comfortable and tasteful. It has been inspired by one of the best, authentic Charleston designers.
Slightly north of the College of Charleston on historic St. Philip Street this charming apartment is the perfect base to enjoy an enchanting Charleston experience. Charleston is like Rome, Italy in that most of the notable monuments and historic details are found in a fairly contained area. You can literally walk from the apartment to the southernmost extremes of the Historic District in under thirty minutes. This journey will take you through the Historic King Street District and the neighborhoods of Cannonborough, Elliottborough, Radcliffborough, Harleston Village and finally South of Broad until you reach the Battery itself. Go east one block and you are on King Street, the home of designer shops, eclectic boutiques, antiques stores and a host of other fascinating shops as well as nationally acclaimed restaurants. Upper King is the new center of Charleston's renowned restaurant and night life. A recent survey of the "essential 18 Charleston Restaurants" has seven of there restaurats (Hominy Grill, Indago, The Grocery, The Macintosh, The Ordinary, Two Boroughs Larder, Xiao Bao Biscuit) within four block of the apartment.
We are excited to offer this attractive space on VRBO.
We also strongly advise during the month of September particularly, and some into October that you purchase the trip protection insurance due to that being the peak of hurricane season in our area. The optional trip insurance offered through VRBO would cover any weather related cancellation as we do not offer refunds or date changes due to weather. Also please note that when booking now or making payment we prefer "e" check as it is free for you and for us to use. If you choose the credit card option, then VRBO/HomeAway charges 2.9% on all monies run through Credit and that fee will be taken from your security deposit before return of the deposit since we do offer a free option. It is your choice. Please ask Jamie if you have any questions at all.
