About Julian and Caroline Brook-Fox
Caroline and Julian have loved living in the farmhouse for 20 years watching their family grow up after a busy life travelling around the world with the armed forces.
Julian and Caroline Brook-Fox purchased this Apartment in 1997
Why Julian and Caroline Brook-Fox chose Wareham
We were lucky enough to be able to buy this small equestrian property whilst posted locally because we loved its rural aspect and yet it was very convenient for the local railway station and the coast. Hydeaway is close to our farmhouse,
What makes this Apartment unique
The flat is very well situated for accessing all the very many local attractions yet is off the beaten track. As a result because there is so little light pollution you will rarely see the stars so clearly.!

This cottage was peaceful and great to listen to the wildlife around you. It was good for seeing all the things we wanted to see in this beautiful area.
Great stay. Lovely location. Thanks guys.
Bank Holiday Retreat
Clean and tidy place equipped with all the necessities for a long bank holiday stay.
The view to the farm and horses makes the place extra special.
Julian ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed with a lot of advice on exploring the area!
Hideaway short break
A very quiet, peaceful location but a little more inaccessible than we had anticipated. An off road vehicle would have been desirable as the approach road is almost three quarters of a mile of unadopted road and extremely rough going. Might add to the charm for some as did the cuckoo call for ourselves.
I am delighted, like so many of our guests, that they enjoyed the peacefulness of the location which remains convenient for local amenities and the route in has just been re-graded.
Relaxed and tranquil
A lovely rural property. Everything you want for a great stay and a comfy bed ( difficult to find these days). En-suite facility.
Lovely outdoor space. Close to beautiful Dorset coast and stunning scenery such as Studland Bay, Corfe Castle, Old Harry Rocks and Lulworth Cove. Great walking area (part of the South West Coastal Path).
Caroline and Julian were lovely hosts.
If you back are looking to get away from it all, with nature all around, a lovely garden; then this is the place for you.
A very cosy and comfortable quiet rural flat attached or the owners home.
It was delightful to hear and see the local wildlife such as the pheasants and the deer in the field. Could hear the cuckoo too.
Julian showed us around when we arrived.
This was a well stocked with all we needed with washing up things and a few cleaning items.
My husband and I had a really pleasant stay and I would thoroughly recommend.
We are particularly close to Lawrence's Cottage, Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum and the nearby Market Town of Wareham with its popular Saturday Market on the Quay from where you can take a river excursion. Corfe Castle, Swanage and the beautiful beaches and coves of the Jurassic Coast are within easy reach by car or now by steam train from Wareham to Swanage on the recently opened railway line..
