About the property

- A great seaside escape for Londoners, equally good for exploring Kent or a business trip.

- 5 minutes walk from the rail station, 2 minutes from the bus station, and only 5 minutes walk to the Victorian seaside promenade, "The Leas".

- Don't miss the harbour & artistic quarter, great fish and chips, and stunning views across to the White Cliffs of Dover.

This is a very comfortable, spacious apartment — great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, or families with kids.

We've used high quality beds, great furniture, and given attention to design in order to make this a fun getaway, that starts to feel like home while you're away.

The master bedroom is decorated in Shabby Chic style, with a king-size "Eve" memory foam mattress (firmness = soft).

Our "Woodland Room" has all natural flooring, and a king-size (zip&link) hotel quality bed (firmness = medium).

The children's room is furnished with a full-size high-sleeper. The lower futon converts into a double bed.

In the lounge, a large leather (John Lewis) sofa converts to a double bed (firm) taking the total number of people that can be accommodated up to 9.

There is a well equipped, brand new kitchen with a serving hatch through to the lounge allowing those with the kitchen duties to not to miss the conversation (or the movie).

The modern bathroom has a luxury walk-in shower, towel rail, and toilet.

There's also a second, separate toilet making life easier for larger groups and families.

Important points to note:

Steps: This is a very light and spacious lower-ground-floor apartment, and there are some outside steps to go down to get to the front door.

Noise levels: This is not a countryside location. It's perfectly located in the heart of Folkestone. There are offices above this apartment, so some low level noise from footfall is to be expected. The front of the building faces the road. The double glazing is good, and the noise levels from the road are low, but some low-level road noise also can be expected. That said, with the windows at the back of the building, the loudest noises are the birds singing in the garden :-)

Beautiful newly renovated flat by the sea

I would certainly recommend this beautiful newly renovated property to anyone staying in Folkestone, England. The property was very clean, well-maintained and stocked with all the amenities needed for housekeeping and food preparation. The location is ideal, only 2 blocks from the high street and 3 blocks from the sea. We had excellent and very prompt communication with the owner, Tom, before and after we arrived in Folkestone.

The listing description regarding the layout, the location, and facilities were very accurate. Folkestone has a beautiful promenade ( The Leas ) that one can walk along and gaze over the sea, and the city is restoring the harbor area, which also has walking paths and many various restaurants. One will not be disappointed in choosing this property to rent in Folkestone.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Folkestone. Shopping, le port, la mer, parc et places de jeux

Le logement est idéalement situé entre la ville et la gare. Nous avons pu tout faire à pieds. Propre, très bien meublé, spacieux. Les commerces sont proches. Nous avons pris le train pour Londres (1h de train) et la gare est à 5mn à pieds. La place de parking est vraiment appréciable. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. L’accueil par Tom était très agréable. Nous recommandons cette location.
