The local area offers exceptional views and opportunities to enjoy the South Downs scenery and surrounding local villages offer a wealth of opportunities for walkers and countryside lovers

It is just a short drive to the coast and the delights of Climping Beach and Littlehampton's West Beach which are beautiful and unspoilt.

Close by is the Goodwood estate with their prestigious motorsport events, the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival, and there is also Glorious Goodwood with five days of thrilling horse-racing action set against the magnificent backdrop of the rolling Sussex countryside.

You can also take advantage of the proximity of the cathedral city of Chichester with its ancient city walls and many museums and galleries. There are also plenty of good shops and restaurants and, if you enjoy the theatre, the Chichester Festival Theatre is worth booking due not only to the quality of productions but the fact many world premieres are featured here as well.

I couldn't recommend the cow hide more, perfectly located between Arundel and the South Downs so great for a walking trip or chilled weekend break with a foodie pub within walking distance.

The cow hide has unspoiled views over to Arundel castle and make sure your there for atleast one sunset.

It is furnished to a high standard with underfloor heating so perfect for the winter months and Caroline the host was lovely, she couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. 5 stars all round.
