About this property

Classic low country home on the fairway of the award-winning Ocean Creek Golf Course, with a marsh view on the other side. Centrally located in the newest area of Fripp Island near the most popular amenities and best beaches. The Cabana Club, Beach Club, Davis Love playground, crabbing dock, Tennis Center, and Marina are located five minutes away by bike or car.

The exterior combines the low country look with newest architectural features for this spacious, 2300 square foot home. The interior was designed and furnished by an Atlanta design firm.

This luxuriously appointed three bedroom and separate sleeping loft, four bath home has an open floor plan with forty foot lofted ceilings in the entry way, a fireplace in the great room, and hardwood flooring in the main living area. The kitchen was designed with the cook in mind and is fully-equipped with high end appliances and a wide range of cookware and service settings.

The washer and dryer are conveniently located near the first floor bedrooms. The kitchen is open to the adjoining great room with an antique dining table for ten. The ground floor great room has a fireplace, large flat panel TV and audio system with various board games and books. The master bedroom with king-size bed is on the second level and a sleeping loft with a queen-size sleeping sofa and day bed.

Two Fripp Club amenity cards are included in the rent and additional cards may be obtained. Four beach chairs are located on the side of the use on hooks. Pets are welcome. We do not provide a golf cart. Guest is recommended to rent a golf cart from the many rentals sites in Beaufort area a month before your arrival date.

Not as expected

Kitchen appliances were in a sad state. Examples-oven unusable, crock pot with no knob, items rusted etc. Lots of dust, many lights burned out. Ac went out and owner didn’t respond until the next morning. Huge bees all around shrubs. Loved the size and location of house but not sure we would stay there again.

Great for Big Families

We had a wonderful week at “The Great Sandtini!” We have a larger family of 8 from infant to teens and this rental supplied us with all of our needs. The high chair and pack and play provided were nice, board games, beach chairs, and much more. So beautifully decorated! Beds were super comfortable and lots of new linens were provided. Kitchen is well equipped even had my favorite type of cast iron pan! Great location to everything. The owner was responsive and helpful with any information we needed. The amenity cards were a plus as well! Thanks so much for a great week of memories!

Karen and Bob Clydesdale live in Atlanta but have vacationed in South Carolina for twenty years, first with a place on Hilton Head. Moved to a quieter Fripp Island eight years ago to escape the traffic and rediscover the family beach life with the next generation.

Why they chose this property

Easy access to very large, white beaches with tidal pools for small kids to play while others can surf and swim in the Atlantic. The island is pet friendly with many families on the beach all day until sun down. Great sea food sources just off the island with fresh shrimp and fish and unique restaurants. Near to Beaufort and Port Royal and a short day trip to Charleston ann Savannah.

What makes this property unique

Deer visiting the back door morning, putting on the first green for the adults in the evening a, professionally designed home with fully equipped kitchen and grill outside, large deck for evening gatherings.
