About Buck and Sarah Jones
Buck is an Eastern Shore native who returned to his roots after serving in the Navy. Sarah met Buck in the famous Carpenter Street Saloon on a weekend break from Georgetown University. After spending ten years working and residing in Washington, DC, the couple decided to move permanently to the vacation home they had built in Talbot County to raise their family. Together with their three kids, they enjoy the laidback lifestyle of the Shore - socializing with friends, boating, fishing and hunting.
Buck and Sarah Jones purchased this House in 2015
Why Buck and Sarah Jones chose Neavitt
Seth's Landing has been in Buck's family since the early 1900's. This home offered gorgeous views and had great "bones", but needed an owner with the time and know-how to fully renovate it. Buck was anxious to restore this property to its former glory. Seth's Landing provides great privacy and panoramic water views. Neavitt is a quintessential watermen's village where watermen have been harvesting the Bay's bounty for many generations. The towns surrounding this area offer year round entertainment including festivals, events, narrated historical cruises, food and wine tasting, and antique car and boat shows.

Can I live here
It’s a place where you forget what day and time it is. Sarah and Buck thought of every detail and came to check in on us personally. Mother Nature did not disappoint either.
The property was very clean and well kept.
This home was very quaint and cozy. It came with very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The view of the water was outstanding. Sarah was so hospitable and brought us fresh eggs and jam. I would highly recommend this home.
Spectacular Water View
This was a great place for a weekend getaway. We had two couples stay at the house and we had everything we needed. Sarah was very accommodating with anything we needed. The eggs and jam were eggcellent. I brought my 22" pontoon and tied it off the pilings. No boat side dock but it worked well. Boating was nice in this area. The two days we were there it was a little windy in the open water but back waters was calm. Bought a bushel a crabs on the water from a commercial crabber. Couldn't resist. They were great. The water view from this property was the best. Had a fire a couple of nights and enjoyed the scenery and being with good friends. Property is close to St Michaels and Tillman Island. Great place for a family getaway.

Lovely cottage with great views -- peaceful, relaxing
The home is lovely. It has two comfortable bedrooms (one with a king; the other with a queen and a single bed), both upstairs. One bathroom that's downstairs. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable, easy house. Very quiet. Right on the bay with magnificent views by day and amazing sunsets and stars by night. Four lawn chairs overlooking the bay -- great for reading and relaxing. There are two kayaks and a two-person canoe, which we used every day. Sarah and Buck are great hosts -- and Sarah kept us stocked with goodies from her hens and garden.
We felt pampered from the moment we arrived! From the cozy feel inside to the outdoor fireplace, we had all we wanted! We had plenty of firewood and fresh eggs for breakfast. When the owner dropped off the eggs, we mentioned that we were thinking of making s’mores, and not long after that, we found a package of marshmallows on the front doorstep! It was a treat! We are already talking about making a return trip!
Quiet and very serene stay. Near the charming town of St. Micheals and Tighnman island.
Loved having morning coffee outside looking at the water while sitting in an Adirondack chair. Many fine restaurants 15 minutes away from house. Sarah was very professional with quick responses to e-mails. Didn't have to buy paper towels and toilet paper like we have with other rentals.Shampoo was even provided. Great beds and pillows. The house was very clean. Water pressure and a cramped shower was the only negative. I would recommend staying at this charming house.
