Casa Joyita is a modern fully equipped yet traditional 3 bedroom villa with a private pool (8x4 meters), enjoying panoramic views of the Penon de Ifach and glimpses of the Med through the pines .Set in its own secure garden in a quiet area of Calpe it is within easy reach of Calpe's 2 beaches La Fossa/Levante and Arenal, supermarkets, town and restaurants. The villa is entered through double drive gates and up to a covered naya, which has table and chairs for alfresco dining.

Inside all windows are fitted with Mosquito Screens, all bedrooms and the lounge are fitted with Jumbo Fans. Radiators are fitted in all rooms along with a log fire in the lounge for winter rentals. The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite bathroom, the 2 other bedrooms have twin beds and are served by the family bathroom. The kitchen is off the lounge /dining room and is fully equipped for self catering. Outside there is a BBQ next to the sun terrace/pool deck which has sun loungers, shades, table & chairs. The villa also has SKY


An IPHONE, I PAD and I POD player/charger is provided.

Fabulous holiday villa

Our first and lasting impression is that Casa Joyita is a fabulous villa, its owners obviously maintain the villa, pool area and gardens to a very high standard.

We had everything we needed for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday.

The garden and pool area was spacious and private,with lots of shady areas to escape the sun.We enjoyed the use of what appeared to be a new BBQ and seating area.

The inside of the villa was delightful,the kitchen was well equipped,with more than enough crockery etc. Sky tv was a big hit with our 2 teenagers(and ourselves when the wimbledon final was on).

There always appeared to be a lovely breeze on the Naya which provided a lovely area to escape the heat at the hottest time of the day.

We have nothing negative to say,the rental process was very smooth with good communication,John and Jo obviously take great pride in providing a great service.

A lovely villa , very clean and well equipped.

Fantastic location ., a quiet residential area but within easy reach of supermarkets and the beach (10 mins by car )

Great pool area with with shady reading corners and plenty of sun loungers .

Fantastic communication and customer service from the owners , with excellent and easy to understand directions ( very important when you arrive in the dark !!! )

We have stayed in many villas in the calpe area and this is one of the best , and we have already booked our return next year

We have visited this villa 4 times, always enjoyed our stays. The villa itself is lovely, clean, the pool area is great. The owners have always been helpful and nice. However, my husband and I feel a little let down with regards to receiving our deposit back. We booked a months stay for August 2013, two weeks for us and the other two weeks for my sister, brother-in-law, nephew and niece. We paid our deposit and my sister's deposit as we were going to pay for a week's stay for them, due to lack of money. My father sadly passed away and I was left some inheritance, so therefore, I wanted to treat my sister and family to a weeks holiday. Unfortunately my brother-in-law lost his job and they were unable to afford to pay for the second week, flights etc, so therefore we had to cancel their two weeks. Upon making the initial booking I was asked if we could move our dates forward or backwards by a week, if we were willing to, an extra £100.00 would be deducted, so we agreed, which meant we started our holiday on the 3rd August 2013 instead of 27th July 2013. When the two weeks got cancelled for my sister the £100.00 was added back onto our holiday price, which I think is unfair as we still ended up going on the 3rd August rather than a week before which we had planned to do, this enabled the owners to have another booking before us. I asked the owners if they could pay us the deposit back that we paid for my sister and they said they could not. I feel that had I of been a villa owner I would of returned the monies as a good gesture, especially as the guests had been to the villa on four occasions and was planning to go again in the near future. Speaking to a few villa owners myself they said they would have also returned the monies to their customers, especially as enough notice had been given and the villa had managed to be re-let and if you value your customers you would want them to return again. I understand that the idea of the deposit is to secure your booking and if you are to cancel you would lose your deposit, but I feel that plenty of notice was given to the owners, regarding my brother-in-law losing his job and they were also able to re-let the villa. Therefore no monies was lost for them. We lost £450 of my fathers inheritance and £100 which was supposed to be deducted. I have put off writing this review as haven't wanted to give a negative one, as the holiday experience has been good. (My sister is my half sister as my Mum remarried).

Great Villa

We hired this Villa based on the pictures contained on the site, and must say they do not fully do it justice. It is spacious, well furnished, clean and well laid out. The owners have obviously spent many good times here themselves - and thought carefully about how they can assist people to have a good holiday stay here - you get the feeling immediately from the moment you walk in the door, that the owners are obviously nice people, who have had many pleasant visits to Calpe.

One thing you notice from this villa, is the personal touches provided by the owners - the simple things such as a fully stocked kitchen, directions to the nearest supermarket, and arriving on a bank holiday, they left us milk and water which was a pleasant surprise and took the pressure off from finding an open shop. Sky TV was also a pleasant surprise, great for when the rains came !!

The pool is a good size, but a little deep. The garden was very well tended and offered a nice amount of privacy.

Calpe itself was nice, with a choice of two lovely clean beaches. The older part of town was also furnished with several very good restaurents, particularly the "Por Que Non" and the "Steakhouse Calpe". Moraira is also close by, and whilst we didn't visit here for long, this is definitely worth a trip to see.

We had a nice time here, and hope to go back again.

Suuuper schöner Urlaub

Wir hatten einen super tollen Urlaub in dieser schönen gut ausgestatteten Villa.

Der Garten und Poolbereich war sehr schön angelegt und gepflegt wir hatten mit 6 Personen super viel Platz. Bis ans Meer und zu den Supermärkten war es auch nicht weit.In der Bar Alleman haben wir gut gegessen und die Live-Musik war auch gut. Würden dieses Haus auf jeden Fall wieder buchen wäre natürlich noch ein klein bisschen schöner gewesen wenn wir auch deutsche Fernsehprogramme empfangen hätten.

Casa Joyita is located in a quiet area of Calpe on the northern Costa Blanca. Conveniently placed for the 2 blue flag

white sandy beaches Arenal and Levante. The distance to the beaches and to the town is1.5km. Calpe is known as the Gibraltar of the north due to its most prominent feature Penon de Ifach, the town itself is a combination of modern and the old Moorish Spain. There is a working fishing harbour with restaurants on the quay. There is a street market every Saturday morning that is well worth a visit, and on a Wednesday morning a Rastra (Bric a Brac) market is held. The nearest coastal towns are Moraira and Altea, inland the mountain top town of Guadalest is well worth the trip as is the D'Algar Falls at Callosa. The Jalon valley a wine making area with tasting at the bodega is a 20 minutes drive. A golf course is close by. Further afield (15km) is Benidorm with its Terra Mitica, Aqualandia theme parks and night clubs. Valencia and Alicante can be reached by train.

Bookings are normally weekly from Saturdays, arrival after 4pm and departure by 10am in Peak Season. At other times of the year, arrival days and times can be more flexible. There is also a £100 key/damage deposit payable with the balance which is refundable after the end of the holiday. Longer winter lets are available at £1160 per month INCLUSIVE of Gas & Electricity. For rentals of 2 months or more a 10% a month reduction will be applied.
