The Dovecote was built in 2017 and is situated in the grounds of the 17th Century Thatched Dove Cottage in the centre of Stoke Bruerne near the grand union canal. Bordered by a 4 metre stone wall marking the conservation boundary, the Dovecote is just a very short stroll from the Stoke Bruerne canal museum, the Boat Inn, The Navigation inn and the Spice of Bruerne Indian restaurant. Its traditional stone and slate exterior is contrasted with a modern Mediterranean interior with heated floor tiles throughout, fitted kitchen, shower en-suite to the double bedroom featuring a local wall map. Smart TV, dishwasher and wifi provided.
Whilst Dove Cottage is being renovated, due for completion September 2017, some of the gardens are being restructured but the Dovecote is unaffected and boasts its own outside seating area and 2 parking spaces, a rarity in Stoke Bruerne.
We have designed the Dovecote to be attractive to holidaymakers and business travelers alike.
