I have always loved entertaining guests and it is my joy to share my homes in Sandpoint.
Paula Davy purchased this cottage in 2005
When I first visited Sandpoint in 2005 I was instantly captivated by its sophisticated simplicity. It is a step back in time to a simpler America but has all of the modern amenities travelers love….GREAT restaurants, hip wine bars, a thriving art community, live entertainment and lots of outdoor activities in the midst of beautiful scenery… a winning combination for a relaxing and exciting vacation experience.
I have ALWAYS wanted to live in a vintage cottage and this sweet cottage makes my heart sing! I love that it is so conveniently located close to town, just one block to a large health food grocery store. When I am there I park the car and bike or walk EVERYWHERE! I love to sit on the front porch with a cool drink and some good friends or BBQ in the backyard with the whole family. It’s just the perfect place for a memorable relaxing vacation.
Great accommodations, roomy and lots of activities within the home and within the community! Very clean older home!
We celebrated a mother/daughter girls' weekend. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked with everything you could need. We would like to come back another time. Sandpoint is a great destination and with the bikes and kayaks it makes it easy and fun to explore.
Loved having access to the bikes; easy access to the beach and all the shops downtown. Enjoyed sitting on front porch sipping coffee and chatting with family! Also, loved the light the large windows provided. Will come back again! Thanks
Comfortable, clean, attractive home, great place for a family gathering. This home slept our large group comfortably, room arrangement is such that each family can have a separate area. Room for visiting and multiple activities at the same time. It is a short walk to the beach. Our kids enjoyed the supplied bicycles. Kitchen is well supplied for cooking or baking. We recommend this home and will keep it in mind for a future stay!
My family traveled from Alberta Canada and Hermiston Oregon to spend Easter weekend together in Sandpoint. Upon our arrival at the cottage we were very happy! It was Clean and bright and nicely decorated. There was plenty of space for our family of 9 plus 2 dogs. We never felt cramped or crowded. There were plenty of beds for everyone to have their own space. The location was awesome. Everything we needed was available within an easy walk. There is a great back yard that we would have enjoyed much more if the weather had been a bit nicer!
There were only 2 things we were disappointed with. First was that one of the dining room chairs was completely broken so we were a chair short for our meals. Plus the fact that my daughter in law was almost injured when she sat in it. Second thing was we wished there were at least a few basic spices and cooking condiments in the kitchen. The only thing there was salt and pepper. Everything else was very well stocked, such as paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and shampoo.
Overall we loved the place! We would definitely stay here again but knowing what we do we would bring a few more condiments with us.
Thank you for sharing your amazing property with us!
We spent a fantastic winter weekend in this house with 4 adults and 4 kids. We had plenty of space for sleeping, eating, and spending time together. Walking downtown for dinner was a snap. Well stocked house and well cared for. We'd stay here again!
