An Excellent High-Quality Property Full Of Charm For A Stress-Free Relaxing Break.

  • 5 of 5

This property is decorated and stocked to a very high standard. There is every thing you need in the kitchen to prepare food at meal times. A huge wooden dining table can comfortably seat a large family. Superb flag-stone flooring throughout the downstairs (apart from the two downstairs bedrooms which are carpeted) make for easy cleaning of any spills or muddy paw marks from the dogs. There is a corner suite in the living room which takes advantage of the views out of the window which stretch for miles across to mountains on one side, and an awesome sea view beyond. The walls of the property are so thick, that a very handy window seat has been created in the living room which is an absolute pleasure to sit on and just take in the views and the warm sun on your face. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a handy wet-room with toilet and sink. Another bathroom downstairs services the two bedrooms and has a deep bath with over-shower, and great views across to the sea and mountains.

The gardens are neat and well-kept. During our stay, the gardeners arrived. There were four men and they worked for 1 hour and 15 minutes and done an excellent job.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quality base for exploring this area of Wales, but also likes comfort and quality as part of the package.

Our family will definitely come to this place again. It really is the kind of place that you don't want to leave when it's time to go.

Easter looking at Hells Mouth

  • 5 of 5

What a fabulous well appointed cottage this is very comfortable with some superb homely touches. Five adults and two grandchildren had acres of space wether at the dining table in the kitchen or all sat in the lounge in the evening. It would take an essay to describe all the features so I will just say excellent. Why looking at Hells Mouth, this is the magnificent view from the lounge picture window of the feature of that name.

Beautiful cottage combining the best of modern luxury whilst retaining historic character!

  • 5 of 5

The property is beautiful in every way! Everything has been thought of in the way that the cottage is designed and decorated. We have a family weekend away every year, this being our 4th one and this is easily the best cottage we’ve stayed in, and we have stayed in some great places.

Just one point of improvement, the beds. The 3 adult couples in the double beds hardly slept at all. The beds may be standard doubles but each of us struggled with the size and comfort level of the beds. The mattresses seem to all bow in the middle when two people are in the bed making it difficult to sleep. I think we probably only had about an hour of undisturbed sleep all weekend, and each couple had exactly the same experience. Last night I slept on the sofa as I couldn’t bear the thought of another restless night.

That really is the only negative with the property! It deserves 5 stars because everything else is perfect, the bed situation just needs some attention.

Thanks for a lovely Easter weekend stay!

Owner's Response: Hi there, we're really sorry and surprised you found the beds uncomfortable. All of the beds and mattresses are new and we bought them because they had good reviews. We will check them out and replace if necessary. Update 6th May 2018 - Further to your comments we've replaced the three doubles with new solid wood bed frames. Hopefully, our future guests will find them very comfortable. Thanks again for your feedback.

A lovely peaceful cottage in a great location

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need to have a relaxed break away. It is close to Abersoch which has some lovely places to eat and a great beach. Emma communicated with us really well. We had a fantastic weekend for my Mum's 50th birthday :)

Great for family stay

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful, secluded property, with excellent facilities, close to some stunning beaches. Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here with the family. The driveway could do with some TLC. Also, if using sat nav - directions sent us left on arrival at destination, but the cottage was actually on the right.

Owner's Response: Hi there, thank you for your review. The drive has been left with some ruts after the wet winter and recent very heavy snow. We have arranged for it to be repaired as soon as the weather is dry enough. Update - May 2018 - The drive has now been re-surfaced. Thanks again for your feedback.
