Beautiful apartment well located
Dany's flat is a wonderfully appointed apartment located within easy reach of local restaurants, highways, and tourist areas. Parking was never a problem and our host Dario did a great job filling us in on local hotspots, beaches, etc. Felt very safe in the neighborhood and would love to come back some day. Thank you for sharing your apartment
Thank you so much Raymond! I am really very happy that you enjoyed your stay in Siracusa and hope to see you again!
Suited us very well
The apartment is located in the heart of the Neapolis district, one of the most important business and commercial districts of the city, home to many offices and shops. Neapolis is also the "new neighborhood" of the ancient Greek polis, where many important city monuments are concentrated: less than a 10-minute walk you can visit the Archaeological Park, a natural area filled with finds belonging to the time Greek and Roman, making it one of the most important archaeological areas of Sicily, the destination of many tourists every year. Inside you can admire monuments such as the Greek Theater, the Roman Amphitheater, the Latomies, the Dionysus Ear and the Iero Ara. Near the archaeological site you can also visit an art-technology park called Tecnoparco Archimede, which represents all the inventions of Archimede. Do not miss a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Tears, one of the most famous symbols of Syracuse. This modern-style church has a slender shape of almost 100 meters high and is a tear in memory of the event of 1953, during which a plaster (preserved and visible inside the sanctuary behind the altar) Main) miraculously tears for 4 days. Finally, the island of Ortigia, which is the oldest part of the city of Syracuse, can be reached on foot with a 25-minute walk.
