About the property

BEACH HUT! At certain times our lovely beach hut is available to rent.

Built in 1863 Number Nineteen is a lovely 2 bedroom house centrally situated in a pretty street just a 5 minute walk from the main shopping area of Western Road, the seafront and the beach. There are numerous shops, including Waitrose, coffee shops, pubs, fish n'chip shop all within a 5 minute walk.

The house has a small front garden and the front door opens onto a hallway. Off the hallway is a comfortable lounge with two sofas and a wall mounted tv. The windows have white wooden slatted blinds. This leads through to the dining area with a shabby chic dining table to seat 4. A patio door opens onto a small sun trap of a patio! A table and four chairs with colourful padded cushions, is topped by a bright parasol.

The kitchen has terracotta floor tiles, a range of units, gas hob and oven, built in fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a small breakfast bar with two stools or step out of the back door and have breakfast on the patio! The kitchen is fully equipped with: kettle/toaster/microwave/glasses, cutlery and crockery for 4 people, storage jars/wine rack. A carbon monoxide alarm is also installed. Outside the kitchen, in the hallway, is a storage cupboard for your coats/shoes. There is also an ironing board and Hoover.

Upstairs is a large fully tiled bathroom with a loo, bidet, bath, walk-in shower, towel rail and double wash basins. Step out of the bathroom up three stairs and the twin bedroom is on your right, it has a chest of drawers a hairdryer and white wooden slatted blind.

The spacious master bedroom has a wall of mirrored built in wardrobes, a chest of drawers and a wall mounted smart tv. The windows have white wooden slatted blinds. There is a small metal foldaway child's bed stored in the wardrobe.

What makes this house unique

BEACH HUT! At certain times our lovely beach hut will be available to rent. It is situated a stone's throw from the beach in Hove on the wide promenade with a beach cafe within 3 minutes walk! The Lawns beach cafe does a great all day breakfast, tea, cakes, ice cream. The hut is equipped with loungers/chairs for 5 people plus a calor gas ring to make a cuppa, glasses, mugs and plates. Nice rental property

Stayed for 3 weeks while working in Shoreham. Nice house with all you need.

Was working nights and was disturbed during the day by builders working across the road and on house at rear of property. (not the owners fault).

No double glazing to the front and no internet, although this is due to be sorted.
