Come and relax in the tranquility of nature in this unique home perched on edge of the salt marsh on the inlet side of Wild Dunes. Dramatic, open architecture, with sweeping marsh views, looking out to Dewees inlet. Have morning coffee in the porch rockers, walk 15 minutes to a beautiful, uncrowded beach, take a ride around the island on one of our 4 bicycles, or enjoy all the golf, tennis and swimming that Wild Dunes has to offer. Spend your afternoon relaxing with a book in the hammock or one of the comfy window seats, or take a glass of wine to the porch rockers and watch the afternoon clouds move over the marsh. When dinner time rolls around, create your own low country cuisine in our fully equipped kitchen -- or venture out to Charleston, Mount Pleasant or Sullivan's Island to one of the many amazing area restaurants.
Unique features of this home include the 14 rocking chairs, distinctive post-and-beam architecture, gourmet kitchen, 3,000 sq. ft. open floor plan, elevator and 90-inch Mitsubishi front projection HDTV (but most of all THE VIEW!)

One of the most outstanding features of this home is the architecture. Designed by Peter Bohlin, recipient of the 2010 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal and designer of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in NYC, it feels spacious and expansive with dramatic angles, striking architectural features -- and huge windows that make you feel as though you are in the midst of nature, not looking out at it. Photos and words don't do it justice -- you just have to experience it!
Weekly rentals are accepted on a Sunday to Sunday basis. Not suitable for children under the age of eight due to open balconies, elevator, unlocked cabinets, etc. No pets, no parties, no smoking.
