Camino Fondo is situated in a select residential area 15min walk from Jalon, boasting fabulous views over the Jalon valley from a private pool terrace. This lovely Spanish villa is comprised of an open plan kitchen, dinning and living area, with 2 double bedrooms situated on either side of the property, each with its own bathroom. From the dinning area, the double doors lead onto the covered naya which is situated in front of the beautiful swimming pool and terrace. From the elevated position of the terrace, you can enjoy wonderful views of the Jalon valley in complete privacy from neighbours and passers-by.
The kitchen is fully equipped whilst the dinning area is beautifully decorated with a traditional Spanish vibe. ‘Al fresco' dining is a must whilst the living room comprises two sofas around a coffee table with TV/DVD available for those who want to bring their own DVD’s to watch (Note. There is no TV service itself). Ample off road parking is provided on a private driveway.
Additional Information: The villa has its own water supply from a tank at the rear of the property which, in particularly hot summers, prevents any water outages in the local area from affecting your stay. An 8 x 4m pool is the centre piece of the terrace with sun loungers provided and looks out over unrestricted views of the valley and Jalon whilst soaking up the sun. The villa is only a short walk to Jalon and is ideally situated to explore both the coastal resorts and inland Spain. Ample off road parking is provided on the driveway to the side of the property.
Booking Confirmation Process: If you would like to make a reservation, please contact the owner who will run you through the process of confirming your booking. You will be required to complete a Booking Form and sign both the Booking Form as well as the Terms and Conditions of Letting. A refundable deposit will be required to be paid ahead of your tenancy in addition to rental charges. The Terms and Conditions of Letting exist for your benifit as well as for the protection of the The Owner. These will be supplied to you with the Booking Form for your review and acceptance should you wish to proceed with a booking.
Overall a very good villa, well equipped and comfortable. It's in a quiet area, but still close to Jalon, so it's very handy for walking down into the town to a restaurant, or driving to places in the vicinity. The situation of the villa is nice in that you have some lovely views, without being overlooked.
We were there for a week in November, and hoping for sunshine. The terrace got the sun from early on (lovely eating breakfast on the patio), but did lose it in the late afternoon. The villa was a little cold in the evenings (Richard had explicitly warned us that there was no central heating!) but the electric radiator was adequate. Would definitely go there again.
Internet access and TV channels would have been nice, but we did know that these weren't offered.
We enjoyed our stay and are likely to book again, would give it 5 stars if the tv was updated and some sort of TV signal obtained, couldn't read sub titles. Saying that it was nice to be cut off from technology for this trip. Very convenient for local shops and restaurants. Kitchen was quite well kitted out and we were able to cook several meals and have our morning smoothies! Really helpful and pleasant owner

So quite and private - great for couples or small families.
I felt like I was on my second honeymoon.
Everything was available and well thought out, even plastic cups for poolside drinks which I think is an absolute must.
Only a 10/15 minute walk to the town and local winery depending on how quick you walk to refill your bottles.
A very clean and tidy property.
I can't wait to return again this year.
The Jalon Valley is situated inland from the coastal towns of Denia, Javea and Moraira. With some areas on the Costa Blanca coast becoming somewhat built up and overcrowded the Jalon Valley attracts a more discerning visitor and resident who appreciates more of a country feel although the coast and it's beautiful beaches are still only 30 minutes drive away.
The Jalon Valley has some of the best scenery in Spain. There are magnificent mountains which surround the plains of olive trees, orange groves, vineyards, raisins and almonds. Peppered in the Jalon Valley are unspoilt villages to explore. The Jalon Valley itself is a walker's paradise ranging from a very gentle stroll to a six hour walk around the Sierra Bernia mountains to the south of Jalon. In late January and early February the whole of the Jalon Valley is covered with pink and white almond blossom and is the best time to see it. In summer, the 'fiesta' season kicks in with events predominantly held in the month of August.

Bookings made more than 60 days before arrival require a Rental Deposit of 50% of the Rent Payable. The balance of the Rent Payable is due not less than 28 days before the arrival date. Bookings made WITHIN 60 DAYS of the Arrival Date will require the full amount of the Rent Due. A Security Deposit is required at the same time as final payment is made, and is at the rate of £300
