Stunning view with a great lIcation!

The location of this condo is absolutely perfect, convenient access to the Boardwalk, all the restaurants and bars, public transportation and the Malaga airport. The views from the balcony are amazing and the entire window wall in he living room opens up to enjoy that view.

Short break in the sun!

Arriving at the appartment at 11am the first thing you notice is the beautiful decoration of pure white walls with lovely leather white couches but really you are looking past that at the amazing sea view with the sun beating through the full length Windows! I was taken back with the view especially as you can sit at the dining table whilst opening up all the windows to give you that feel of peace and rest and essentially what we wanted to get away from work! Going in October meant that the pool side was pretty empty and the private beach can be used if you want to mix things up. Very short walk to the shops and resteraunts which made it pleasant to go out at night and stroll back. Easy taxi ride if you want to explore other villages but be warned that once you ring that taxi it will arrive within a minute unlike England! The overall experience here was fantastic for our short break with Miguel and Laura who manage the properties go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the stay is as pleasurable as possible

Excellent Apartment

An excellent apartment to stay in Torremolinos. You could get nearer the sea if you tried. Very clean and tidy. Modern fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances you need including fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob, coffee maker, dishwasher. Free Wi-Fi & flat screen TV (not many English channels). Two double bedroom with en-suite bathrooms. A Jacuzzi bath in one of the bedrooms. The wall to the bedrooms are toughened glass which is unusual but there is a blind you can pull down for privacy. There are 5 bi-fold glass (toughened) doors to the terrace from the living room which in summer you can fold back which gives you a spectacular view of the sea. We stayed in December so did not have them open. There is free air conditioning which we turned to the heat setting as it was a little chilly in the evenings in December. The apartment is situated in the Castillo de Santa Clara apart-hotel complex which is only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Torremolinos. So not far at all from the bars & restaurants. A few favourite places I can recommend are: Boomerang Bar & Casero restaurant. Both Excellent, of which are in the little whitewashed area called Pueblo Blanco (5-10 minute walk from the apartment). El Gato Lounge - Fab restaurant bar on the sea front just along from the apartment. You can't miss it as it has bright pink chairs outside. La Escalera - Super restaurant which is down the steps that take you to the beach, at the end of Calle San Miguel, the main pedestrianised street at the end of Plaza Nogalera. Bistro Adriano - A nice little bar café situated in a lovely square in an area called Calvario which is towards the north of Torremolinos opposite the town hall (Google it). All in all Santa Clara 6 is a superb place to stay.

Beautiful

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. The view was incredible. It is small, but it was fine for the short time we were there. The pool and grounds are gorgeous. A coffee maker would be really nice, because we could not find the proper pods at the grocery store for the Krups maker that was there. Also a minor inconvenience was that the closet door in the master bedroom was not on the tracks properly so very tricky to move back and forth. We would definitely stay here again.

La Carihuela is an old fishing village which has a picturesque panoramic views. It is located on the coast between Torremolinos and Benalmadena (2 resorts with lots going on) which are linked by a promenade where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll, with and abundance of bars, restaurants and shops.

Nearby is the historic city of Malaga, the botanical garden in Fuengirola, Sea Life Centre and Marina in Benalmadena, day excursions to Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba or Gibraltar. There are 10 golf courses within a 50 Km. radius and Torremolinos enjoy the Aqua Park, Crocodile Park and many other interesting places to visit. The beaches are noted for their cleanliness and are lined by Chiringuitos (beach bars) offering the best and freshest seafood and as the beaches measure approx. 2km. in length they offer plenty of sun beds which can be hired for a few Euro a day. Average temperatures in the autumn and winter months are in the low 20's and temperatures can reach the high 30's in summer.

Golf: Costa del Sol is renowned for Golf courses, within a few miles from Torremolinos you have Guadalhorce a Links course, Torrequebrada, Mijas, Fuengirola, this are just a few within our area, then you can find many more all the way down to Algeciras near Gibraltar.

Ski: The nearest ski resort is Sierra Nevada in Granada, about 100 km. distance from Torremolinos, this resort enjoys very good quality ski from very early winter right into spring.

Torremolinos is in the heart of the 'Costa del Sol'. It has a good public transportation system including train to Málaga or Fuengirola and local buses as well. It is busy all year around thanks to the nice weather conditions and many 'fiestas and ferias' in the whole area. Its very nice for sightseeing as towns like Ronda, Mijas Pueblo and Málaga are near by. It is the 'Golfers' paradise..

Costa del Sol, also known as Costa del Golf for its 50 golf courses is the perfect place for any kind of holiday:

just relax on the beach or choose between one of the various attractions of the place: waterparks, watersports, golf, horse riding, cycling, You will never get bored!!
