Fantastic Beautiful Views and Apartment

As soon as I arrived I was welcomed by the owner. Very informative nothing any trouble. The views are amazing to wake up in the morning relax on the balcony to finishing your day unwinding. This is after walking for miles and exploring the surrounding area. Use the lift to start your walk to take you to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars and marina. The hardest thing you will have to do all holiday is think what to do first, which restaurant, bar or beach to go to. Lots of supermarkets in easy reach. Train station 5min walk takes you from the airport to all resorts across the country, you can pick this up in the town centre only a few euro. My family have already booked to return twice in 2016 to the owners additional apartments.

One of our favourite hotels

This was our second visit to the Sunset Beach Club. The hotel is kept very clean, The apartment suit is very confortable, with everythig we need, tv sat, air condition, a nice and big bathtoom.... The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in an excellent location, near to a bus stop. There are two grocery stores nearby, plus a small store in the basement of the hotel. The bakery there is excellent and prices are very fair. There are a number of restaurants a short walk away. If we visit Benalmadena again we will definitely stay here again.

A perfect sunshine getaway

"It is a comfortable and clean appartement situated on a very nice place. The service is good (towells , bedsheets). The owner is a very helpfull and kind person. All shops restaurants bars busstop etc. are on walking distance. The maintenance from pool and garden are very good. The beach is just beneath the pool. I can recommend this to everybody who likes comfort and entertainment...

Fantastic location

Lovely spacious apartment. Comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space. Reasonable kitchen utensils. Fridge/freezer excellent. No English channels only BBC news, which was a negative as we stayed Jan & Feb and was cold at night and to have had T.V. to watch would have been great.

Washing machine very useful for long stay. Lots of bars and restaurants along the strip, more opening as the weeks went by.

On the whole very enjoyable experience.

La Carihuela is an old fishing village which has a picturesque panoramic views. It is located on the coast between Torremolinos and Benalmadena (2 resorts with lots going on) which are linked by a promenade where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll, with and abundance of bars, restaurants and shops.

Nearby is the historic city of Malaga, the botanical garden in Fuengirola, Sea Life Centre and Marina in Benalmadena, day excursions to Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba or Gibraltar. There are 10 golf courses within a 50 Km. radius and Torremolinos enjoy the Aqua Park, Crocodile Park and many other interesting places to visit. The beaches are noted for their cleanliness and are lined by Chiringuitos (beach bars) offering the best and freshest seafood and as the beaches measure approx. 2km. in length they offer plenty of sun beds which can be hired for a few Euro a day. Average temperatures in the autumn and winter months are in the low 20's and temperatures can reach the high 30's in summer.

Golf: Costa del Sol is renowned for Golf courses, within a few miles from Torremolinos you have Guadalhorce a Links course, Torrequebrada, Mijas, Fuengirola, this are just a few within our area, then you can find many more all the way down to Algeciras near Gibraltar.

Ski: The nearest ski resort is Sierra Nevada in Granada, about 100 km. distance from Torremolinos, this resort enjoys very good quality ski from very early winter right into spring.

Torremolinos is in the heart of the 'Costa del Sol'. It has a good public transportation system including train to Málaga or Fuengirola and local buses as well. It is busy all year around thanks to the nice weather conditions and many 'fiestas and ferias' in the whole area. Its very nice for sightseeing as towns like Ronda, Mijas Pueblo and Málaga are near by. It is the 'Golfers' paradise..

Costa del Sol, also known as Costa del Golf for its 50 golf courses is the perfect place for any kind of holiday:

just relax on the beach or choose between one of the various attractions of the place: waterparks, watersports, golf, horse riding, cycling, You will never get bored!!
