About Ian VonHold
Our family has absolutely loved The Cape since we moved to Massachusetts in 2004. This cottage is our home away from home and we know you will enjoy it just as much as we do!

What makes this Cottage unique
Location! The cottage is just north of route 6A, less than a mile from three beaches, sunsets and tidal flats. Kate's Seafood and Ice Cream, Dunkin Donuts and a local liquor store are within walking distance. The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History is within a mile. Don't forget to visit 'The Brewster Store', it's only 1.5 miles away. The Cape Cod Bike Path is less than 10 minutes, and is a fantastic non-beach activity for the entire family.

A perfect cottage for our summer vacation!
We loved this house! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. It's on a quaint and quiet side street with easy access to everything. Our kids loved walking to Kate's ice cream shop and Paine's Creek Beach is so close. We also loved Cold Storage Beach which is just 3 miles down the road. The house is well kept and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need if you plan to have meals at the house. We would definitely stay at this house again in the future!
A dream house
It's a very charming house and environment.
Very clean and full of facilities. Owner helpfull and kind.
Best location on the cape!
If you want a convenient location to the entire cape - this is it! My family and I have visited the cape for 16 years straight and brewster is hands down The place to be. Additionally this cute cottage is walking distance to the beach a Dunkin’ and Kate’s seafood and ice cream which is why we chose to stay here- close to everything! the cottage is immaculate stocked with what you need - LOVE that it had soft towels and sheets for us!! Quiet back deck and nice windowed addition to read and nap!
Loved there was a gas stove -wish there was a dishwasher but we used paper supplies and were fine! Perfect cottage for our family enjoyed our week!! Thx!!
Perfect stay at Tales of Sunset Bay
Property was exactly as they described it. It was neat and clean and we had plenty of room in the cottage. The cottage was nicely decorated and had plenty of supplies like, blankets and extras in the bathroom in case we forgot any of our own. We would definitely come back again for another stay. It was a short walk away to Paines Creek which is a beautiful beach to complete your Cape Cod stay. The neighbors were super quiet-never saw them and the street was quiet as well. We got to see some wildlife in the back yard, ie; cardinals. bunnies, and even a cute ground hog waddling from house to house. (we had to look up what he was).
Thanks again for offering your home!
Excellent relaxing stay.
The home in Brewster on Six Penny Lane was immaculate and perfect for our needs. We wanted to bike the Cape Cod rail trail. This home was ideal to do this. Enjoyed the Brewster area. Easy walk to beach. Found everyone we met very friendly and helpful. Thanks so much.
Perfect in every way!
Spotless and updated cottage with everything one would need for a home away from home vacation! Beautifully decorated with matching dishes/cutest glasses and basic food/spices that were not old or expired). We especially loved the enclosed porch with wall to wall windows . Comfortable beds with plenty of linens and tons of pillows to suit every preference. Great patio furniture on pretty, quiet deck made for relaxing mornings! All rooms were large and airy; don't let the square footage fool you. The cottage layout maximizes the space! Quiet, private neighborhood with well kept homes and easy access to shops and other towns. My friend who stayed with me wanted to buy this place on the spot!! Wish we would have booked the whole week here instead of just 3 days!! Love how the house keys were so easily accessible. The cost was fantastic but the only drawback was having to get all the linens and towels washed before 10am check out. (Modern washer/dryer is in the home and we appreciated being able to wash our clothes). Would have paid extra for laundry service. Thanks for sharing this quintessential home with us!
You don't want to miss a single bay side sunset! Paine's Creek is a quiet beach with spectacular low tides! Bring your buckets to collect a few treasures, especially large white shells! Choose Brewster for it's history, it's many beach, it's enticing food, and it's quaint shops!
