Stunning Romantic Chamonix Mazzot Chalet 1 Bedroom Weekend Holiday Rental Accommodation

Chalet Noelle is a beautifully renovated traditional mazot of 30m2, on two levels, it is absolutely ideal for a romantic alpine break.

Set in quiet location and a picturesque mountain backdrop, this one bedroom chalet in Les Bossons, Chamonix is in a stunning location, yet very close to Chamonix and Les Houches. The drive is less than 10 minutes to the car parks and ski lifts. Local free buses and train services are also available if you do not have your own transportation.

This lovely mazot has been completely refurbished, insulated so that it is very cosy and warm.

The fitted kitchen includes a wonderful combined, 4 ring hob, oven, dishwasher, plenty of kitchen utensils and work surface for preparing your meals.

It also has the added bonus of a coffee machine and microwave.

The bathroom is wood lined and comprises of a refreshing shower, sink and toilet.

Steep stairs lead upstairs to the double bedroom and whilst it is set into the roof, there is plenty of head room with wardrobe and storage furniture.

The balcony from the bedroom gives magnificent views, imagine your morning sat here looking up at the Mont Blanc mountain range.

There is a small dining table and seating for 3 or 4. The lounge area includes a sofa which converts to a double bed, small armchair, tv with local French channels and wifi internet to other entertainment.

The mazot has plenty of storage for skies and boots.

An additional entrance has been added which is great for storing your boots so they are not cold first thing.

Within the property these is also a small washing machine which means you can pack light.

"FLY:

Our recommendation is that you fly to Geneva airport it is only 50 miles (80km) to Chamonix and takes little more than an hour."

You may choose to hire a car or arrange a transfer.

There are many transfer providers, we work with the best and most reliable and are very happy to help arrange transfers directly from the airport to the apartment for you.

"TRAIN or BUS:

You may choose to travel by train or public bus from the airport."

Although this is cheaper, it does not save you much money, the journey takes much longer and you still have to find your own way to the property once you reach Chamonix.

"DRIVING:

If driving, then from Calais the journey is around 850 miles (900km) and with minimal breaks the good motorways will see you in approx. 9 hours."

Chamonix is best known for its extreme skiing, climbing, high mountain hiking and mountain biking. This busy alpine village is extremely popular in the winter and summer seasons with tourists clambering for a glimpse of Mont Blanc. Chamonix has all the facilities of a town with a great variety of shops, restaurants and bars, cinema, museums, sports centre, ice-skating, tennis, squash, swimming pools and 18 hole golf course. There are fabulous walking and running trails all over the valley as well as xc mountain biking and down hill and unlimited climbing areas for all abilities. The skiing/snowboarding is ideal for intermediate and advanced skiers, but also great ski schools for beginners.

Golf: Golf Information:

The golf course in the Chamonix valley has a high standard with excellent facilities. It is situated next to the village of Les Praz. It was built in 1934, originally with 4 holes, it was officially opened on the 20 July 1935 with 9 holes completed. It was only in 1972 the council decided on a further 9 holes. So 10 years later, on the 26 September 1982 it was relaunched with 18 holes. A technical course designed by the prestigious architect Robert Trent Jones Senior, who knew how to make the most of the environment. The course is notable for the its numerous obstacles and raised greens. There is a driving range of 29 bays of which 14 are covered, 2 training greens and 2 bunkers.
