A loft style apartment in quintessential English country village
About David Winterbourne
I am 42 years old and live and grew up in this area. I work in London as a business consultant for creative agencies. I enjoy travel and often pop away for a long weekend to the Balearic Islands, France and Italy. I am also a keen snowboarder so spend my winters back and forth in the Alps. I love the English countryside and also the hustle and bustle of London and everything that it has to offer.
David Winterbourne purchased this Apartment in 2015

The most peaceful place to stay
Beautiful views over the fields from the main sitting room, unbelievably peaceful on the terrace outside the patio doors. Lovely walk from back garden across fields and into woods. Comfy deep-pile carpets, huge TV with comfy chairs & foot-stools, excellent wifi internet, kitchen stocked with all sorts including cereals, bread, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. David even left us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. 5 stars!
I am really glad you enjoyed your stay here in Old Knebworth, and thank you so much for such a lovely review. David X
Peaceful, picturesque and easily accessible from London
What a beautiful gem this property really is. 25mins from my home in North London yet it feels like your perfectly tucked away in nature. It has acres and acres of flowing fields of corn and woods which feel like your own secret back garden. The property itself is cleverly designed and simple to operate leaving you free to connect with yourself and the surrounding environment with breathtaking views from all over the apartment. The property is ideal for anybody looking to escape London and unwind. I loved every minute of my time there and would highly recommend it.
It was a pleasure to be able to share my home with you and I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Looking forward to having you again soon I hope.

If this feels like too much effort there is also a pub next to The Green, 4 minutes walk from the front door called 'The Lytton Arms' - named after the family who lived in Knebworth House since 1490. It has live music on a Friday night, food, a range of ales and the occasional beer festival.
