We were met on time by the friendly housekeeper,and were able to make tea and coffee, even eggs for breakfast in fridge!
The location is perfect,buses ran frequently to all areas and West End,loved the river walk.Lots Rd dinning pub and Indian in complex,excellent food..Great supermarket and gym within walking distance..Kings Rd the best shopping too!

My first time using Homeaway for a vacation. Mr. Singhs place is great. Its your typical two bedrrom two bath apartment. Excellant location. Minutes from a major train stop for easy access to London and the tube and or bus system that serves the greater London area. Tesco Express is less than a 5 minute walk. Everything we needed was found there. There is a larger major supermarket about a 15 minute away. Bus service is awesome right in front of the apartment complex. The apartment itself, no major issues other than the washer dryer combination needs a service. It washed the clothes great but the dryer did not work well. Mr. Sing will be getting that sorted out. Wifi works great, all other amentities in the aprtment work great including the air conditioners in each room. The location is a very safe and secure location, Staying in this apartment far outways staying in an hotel in London which would cost for three, at least $300 per night. And you will not get all the amentities that the apartment had to offer. After a long day in London it was nice to walk 3-5 minutes from the apartment to the local pub which is righ on the River Thams. Great food and a large selection of beer and wine. We stayed 10 days in the apartment and would stay there again. Mr. Singh was great in contacting us about 10 days before we arrived and arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport at your expense which was no problem. At least we knew someone was waiting for us at the airport. Uber was great which we used many times. They are cheaper than the back taxi's and ease of use via the Uber app. Having lived and worked in Europe including 9 years in England, we were use to the type of apatments that this one is. Overall I would recommen to anyone looking for an apartment to rent while visiting the London area.
Almost a perfect visit
This was our first trip to London and we found Richard's apartment to be in a great location to easily use public transportation and within a short walk to a store for basic groceries. The apartment, while very compact, was just what we needed. Also, Richard himself was easy to communicate with for arranging late arrival. The only downside was that a couple of sinks in the apartment were not draining properly and were not able to be fixed during our visit. I think this was partly due to our not spending very much time in the apartment since we were out sightseeing most of the day, and so no one was around for repairman to come by and fix the problem. Our not being in the apartment much also meant that the sink issue didn't affect us as severely too.

Adequate, but disappointing
I chose this rental because of the 5-star ratings I saw. Although it was adequate, it certainly did not live up to a 5-star rating. First, I should say that I did not discuss the problems we had with the flat with the owner while we were staying there, because we really were there just to sleep and I didn’t want to cut into out sight-seeing time to deal with the problems. Neither did I want anyone in the flat while we were gone. So this will the first the owner is aware of the multitude of issues we had.
After booking the flat, it took the owner weeks to answer some very simple questions, and that was only after additional emails asking for the information. With just a week before our trip he finally replied. One question was how to get from Gatwick to the flat. He explained well how to get from the airport to the overground, but only an address via the portal for the actual address. It was not adequate to get us there. Even a nearby hotel could only point us in the approx. location. That led to more wandering with our luggage and finally finding the flat, but not the concierge for the key. After I was finally able to get a hold of the owner via phone (number on the portal was not answered) he was able to verbally direct me to the location of the concierge, which was not obvious to any of those in our group.
Here are the issues in the flat itself:
-None of the ceiling lights or lamps in the LR were working, we had to move a lamp from the bedroom
-Bathroom sinks were very slow to drain, causing a back-up every time we turned on the water
-The shower head (hall bath) did not fit the holder, it was only propped up against the wall, so the only way to use that shower was to actually hold the shower head, occupying one hand and making it very difficult to shampoo
-Broken button on toaster
-No silverware holder in dishwasher
-No coffee maker, only coffee powder (even though I asked about this, and giving the owner the benefit of the doubt, must have misunderstood)
-Horrible, flat pillows
-Stinkly decorative bed pillows
-Unable to control the thermostat in room with double beds. Even though the readout said 64 degree F, heat continued to pump, resulting in sweltering heat
-Very nice, safe location. Imperial Wharf is a very nice area and we always felt safe there. In addition, there is a grocery store very close, and the overground is an easy five minute walk away, making transportation very simple

I called you on April 23rd or 24th 10 days before you arrived so plenty of time there. (I was in Hospital fromthe start of April before that's why it took a little time to get back)
1. The address is so easy to find IMPERIAL WHARF from Gatwick
once there all you had to find is the concierge (which you cannot miss) to pick your keys up. Did not know you found it so hard to find people have been staying for years and have always found it.
2. All lights work in the apartment you must not have known how to work the Lights control panel.
3.Must get new toaster sorry about that
4.The silverware tray is at the top of the dishwasher you have to pull it out.
5. No family have ever moaned about the pillows before you are the first.
6. Sorry did not understand your coffee request at the time
7. Air con works fine again you should have asked how it works easy- peasy.
The shower head was loose that all now fixed and the sinks can get blocked by hair now and again sorry it was when you were there now fixed.
Glad you liked the location and felt safe and had a safe trip back.

Nice flat for a family
We had a great stay in the Imperial Wharf flat. The unit worked well and was comfortable for our family of four (two adults, two kids). It was very clean and nicely furnished. Richard was very helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The location is a bit outside of central London but in a fun area with restaurants and grocery stores close by. It is a pretty area along the Thames, which is fun. There are a couple of transportation options - the Overground is very close, and the Underground is a short walk away. Both were easy to use. We had a great time during our stay and the flat was great for us. Would definitely stay there again.
My friend and I decided to spend Christmas in London and had the good fortune to be able to rent the Fulham property. The unit was very nice, the building secure and the owner allowed us in early due to our travel circumstances. There are restaurants near, a market, hotels, shops and a close connection to an overground rail. We didn't feel we had enough time to explore the area so we definitely decided we needed another trip back and wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again.
Other Activities: sightseeing, restarants, museums, art galleries, riverside walks.
50% deposit required on booking, final payment due 4 weeks before start of rental. Rent includes visit by cleaner.
