Quiet, clean, close to shops
The house was nearly perfect.
It was the cleanest holiday home I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had all necessary appliances. It was very quiet most of the time, which was exactly what I was looking for. The neighbour's cats were lovely. Their chicken would wake you in the morning. And you can see the sea from there.
Two supermarkets were close by which was very convenient. The main street with a bus stop was only a 5 minute walk away.
The only drawback of the house was that it was a bit cold and dark as there were no windows in the direction of the sun. I suspect that will be a godsend during summer, though. But they provided an electric heater and a dehumidifier which helped a lot.
One other inconvenience was that I had to wait for half an hour and make a few phone calls for someone to turn up at the meeting point, which was quite worrying. It worked out fine in the end. Other than that, the handling of the admin side of things were fine.
I can highly recommend this house. I stayed in the upper storey, I assume the lower storey will be just as lovely.
