Charming well-appointed, sunny apartment is a perfect pad for your visit to London. Top floor of a Victorian house in leafy Hampstead. It is just 15 minutes from West End, theatres, shopping, and sightseeing.
Large living room has patio doors to roof terrace with views over London, well-equipped kitchen, library annex with sofabed, and one bedroom with double bed. Large bathroom with bath/shower - and boosted water pressure. Quiet street but lively neighbourhood nearby with cafes, shops, cinema, pharmacy, and pubs.
Great walks/runs nearby on Primrose Hill, Hampstead Heath or along Regent's Canal.

I am normally a meticulous planner but when a late change in plans brought my family of four to London during Christmas it was a scramble to find a suitable flat. While responses were few among owners Tricia went to considerable lengths to get the flat in order and the keys delivered on short notice. We cannot thank her enough for her efforts over a very busy time of year.
After some travel hectic days we were very relieved to find that the flat suited our needs. Although it’s a 4th floor walk-up the reward is a spectacular view of the London skyline. The winter sun streamed into the flat as we enjoyed our morning coffee from the espresso machine while listening to the BBC through the excellent sound system. The flat is well appointed and no need to bring guidebooks as there an extensive library available for use. There is one small bedroom and our boys were fine on the couches. As noted by others the shower can be a challenge for taller folks but you get the hang of it after a couple days.
The flat and neighborhood is quiet and local services abound. The Tesco Express around the corner was all we needed for eat-in meals and morning pastries. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Olivers and later in the week at The Hill pub at the end of the street. The Chalk Farm tube stop is a short walk down the hill. With the tube shut down on Christmas it was no problem walking south over Primrose Hill into Regents Park and looping back through Camden Town.
We have rented in London before but after this stay and after enjoying the view I cannot imagine staying anywhere else.
This flat is in a great location with easy access to Central London by public transit and walking. If you're up for it, you can walk to Oxford St in just over an hour. It's easy to get back by bus or Tube. There is plenty of room in the flat, but if you are taller than 5 foot 10, the bathroom ceiling and in particular, the shower, will be a challenge. There is lots of natural light and a good view of the skyline. It is at the very top of the house, so if you have lots of luggage, you'll need to have stamina making several trips up and down the narrow staircase to check in and out. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher. It is also very quiet, being about a 2 minute walk off the main road, there isn't a lot of background noise. The MBR has a double bed which is very very firm. Very. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to London.
My husband and I rented this flat for a week and had a wonderful time. We couldn't agree more with all of the other reviews. It truly was a quiet oasis after a long, busy day sightseeing. We could kick off our shoes, enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace, prepare our dinner, talk about our day and plan the next one while watching the sun set over the London skyline. All of the amenities of the flat were as described and suited our needs very well. The weather while we were in London was spectacular and I agree with another reviewer that although the flat was a bit warm when we returned at the end of the day, it cooled off beautifully with a lovely breeze after opening the sliding doors to the terrace and the skylight in the bathroom. Tricia was very nice to work with and provided detailed instructions on the flat's appliances and helpful suggestions about where to go in the neighbourhood. We tended to shop for meal ingredients and wine on England's Lane just a few minutes away - a street that has a lovely village feel. Also a fish and chips dinner at Oliver's should not be missed! I have already recommended this flat to friends. We would love to return someday.
I had done a lot of research before selecting where to stay for our two week trip to London. I wanted to be in a neighborhood, avoid the touristy experience, and really live like a local while in town. This flat made it all possible. My sister and I could not have been more pleased with our stay here.
I'll agree with another reviewer and say that if you're particularly tall, you might have issues in the shower and remind people that this is a 4th floor walk-up so if you're not good with stairs, this won't be the place for you. And those are only reservations I can consider on this flat.
The neighborhood is lovely. My sister and I reguarly made it to Primrose Hill and Regent's Park for our runs, or just to meander.
Belsize Park and Hampstead (and its Heath) are short walks up the hill and have interesting architecture, a delightful selection of restaurants and boutiques, and a sylvan respite from the city.
Public transit in this city may be the best in the world. We came prepared with an Oyster card and had no difficulties at all navigating the vast system. There is so much signage and with an application like Citymapper on your phone, the entire city is yours to explore.
At the end of each day, we had a place that felt like home to return to and a neighborhood to go out and socialize in. It was marvelous. (And yes, the view. We spent time out on the terrace as much as we could even in the cold.)
Tricia was fantastic to deal with, responding quickly to any questions we had.
If the she ever decides to sell, I would buy it. That's how much I enjoyed staying there.
I have no intention of ever staying anywhere else in London and I WILL return.
My (somewhat homesick) daughter is spending 6 months studying in London and the purpose of my trip was to visit her and be able to spend some time together in our own little rental. This flat was just perfect for us--easy to get to, comfortable, well-appointed small kitchen and excellent use of space. The owners were extremely responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. They had added lots of thoughtful details and left very good information regarding the flat itself, recommendations for dining and getting around, and directions in the neighborhood. The flat was clean and my daughter stayed with me, using the sleeper bed and study as her small room. We had a great week together and enjoyed being able to shop at nearby markets and cook dinner and relax in the evenings. Highly recommend!
This flat more than lived up to its website description. the area was so quiet but only a quick ride by the underground to the downtown sights of London. We tended to get off at the further stop Belsize Park and walk down the hill to the flat. Also we found that the grocery shopping had more choices here.
We appreciated all of the tourist literature that had been left at the flat, enjoyed the good sound system , used the wi-fi successfully and found the kitchen and flat well equipped. The instructions for opening and closing were very clear.
And of course there was the view! Everyone has remarked about this but it must be mentioned again. The weather was too cold during our visit to sit out on the terrace but we never tired of sitting at the table and gazing at the London skyline complete with the steeple of St. Paul's. One evening we were even treated to a rainbow after a rain shower.
One day we visited Fenton House, a National Trust property close by in Hampstead. We would highly recommend it plus the local shops, streets and cafes. There was so much more to explore near the flat but we ran out of time
