Owner's Response: It was a pleasure to have you stay with us recently & glad you enjoyed your time here. We, who live here, often don't appreciate what a beautiful area it is, with many places of interest within easy reach. This is a good base for central England.

Lovely cottage base to explore the Cotswolds.

  • 4 of 5

Our welcome was warm and we were shown around the beautiful stone barn conversion. A great base to explore or put your feet up. Perfect location in the village and nearby Fuzzy Duck pub. Close to Stratford for a bit of culture, or the rolling Cotswolds for some exercise. We loved it - thanks.

Very comfortable New Year stay

  • 5 of 5

We were staying at The Cottage over New Year week to attend a family wedding.

Very comfortable cottage which was clean and cosy. It is furnished and decorated to a very nice standard. Quiet location and sleeping was very comfortable and restful.

The cottage was well equipped for a family of 4.

There is no shop in Armscote but we enjoyed a walk to nearby village shop on a couple of occasions, and this is easily accessible by car about 5 minutes away. Nearby towns are within close proximity with plenty of nice coffee shops etc..

The owners were very welcoming and friendly but not intrusive.

I would definately stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Owner's Response: We are so pleased you enjoyed your time at The Cottage. The comfort of our guests is always important to us, whether it be nice beds or the welcoming gas log fire stove, which keeps everyone cosy & warm! Although, as you mention, there is no shop in the village, there is a wonderful pub serving great food & drinks within walking distance, & Stratford upon Avon is only 10 minutes drive away. So much to do & see in this area - you'll never be bored! Hope to welcome you back here soon.

Idyllic cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the cottage in June during our annual visit to the UK from California. The peacefulness of the village was fabulous, yet only a short drive from neighboring towns and villages, with plenty of shops and activities close by. The cottage itself is an absolute delight! It's well kept, fully equipped, very comfortable and well maintained. It was very adequate for a family of four, and my only regret was that we could not have stayed longer.

Lovely accommodation in a great location

A lovely, welcoming cottage of a great size. Very well equipped with everything you could need for your stay.

Ideally located, just a short drive from Stratford Upon Avon or the villages of the Cotswolds.

Would recommend it.

Owner's Response: The Cottage at Armscote is indeed well placed for visiting Stratford upon Avon, Shakespeare's Theatre, Warwick Castle, & numerous Cotswold villages. We love to make our guests feel welcome at any time of year & have recently refurbished the bedrooms, all with brand new luxurious mattresses, so maybe you will visit us again sometime to try them out! The double bedroom is now a KING size bed. Even better value for money now!

Stunning cottage set in beautiful countryside.

  • 5 of 5

The cottage had all the amenities required to make our stay more than comfortable for the week we stayed there. It was clean and tidy and perfectly situated for Stratford and Shipston. The cottage had the bonus of being ideally located to the Motorway and only 40 minutes from the Airport. The cottage is set in a beautiful quiet village with stunning countryside, perfect for a peaceful break!

The owners are welcoming and friendly, yet discrete. We would highly recommend the cottage and will definately stay there again.
