The apartment consists of two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and an attic. The bedrooms, both with terrace, enjoy an unbelievable panoramic view of the surrounding hamlet and hills. The house, completely restored in January 2017 in compliance with anti-seismic standards, is located on the second and last floor of the building, located in one of the oldest districts of the famous Leopard village. Walking through the charming streets of the historic center, you can walk to the square, the house of Giacomo Leopardi and all the points of historical and artistic interest in the city. Recanati is also only 20 km from the sea and is an excellent alternative to the chaos of the coast. A unique place to enjoy the typical and the beauty of our beloved Marche region.
The house belonged to my grandfather Nello, who was the carpenter, and all the furniture of the house was built by him with his hands. After careful restoration, we decided to keep what he had created to give home that unique energy of things made with love.
The building is located in one of the oldest districts of Recanati, Monte Volpino. The city was built at the end of the twelfth century when the lords of three heights decided to join. The three hills (Monte Volpino, Monte San Vito and Monte Morello) retain their ancient names and constructive features. Just in Mount Volpino there is still a house lined with an arch dating to the oldest part of the city.
Going out of the house you go through a small square from where you can enjoy one of the most spectacular views of the area, admiring the hills descending to the sea and the impressive Monte Conero.
