About this property

This renovated 2BR/2B 1200 sq. ft. unit is waiting for your visit. Lovely beach and ocean views from the 5th floor balcony accessed through sliding doors in living room and master bedroom. The kitchen contains stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, tile backsplash, and gorgeous granite countertops. Enjoy meals on one of four barstools or at the zinc top dining table which seats six. The comfy slipcovered love seat pulls out to make a double bed, and the ottoman opens to reveal a twin sleeper. In the living room, there is a 55 in. HDTV smart television. The spacious master bedroom boasts a king bed with luxury bedding and a 42 in. HDTV. Twin sinks sit atop a granite countertop in master bath; the master shower is beautifully tiled. A queen size bed with luxury bedding complete the guest bedroom; the second bath contains a shower/tub combo with subway tile and a refurbished 1930's porcelain sink. Lovely horizontal floor tiles throughout the condo finish the bright and airy look.

Lovely home!

Beautiful and had many perks such as laundry detergent/dryer sheets, dishwasher pods, basic spices and cupboard space for groceries. Even had a little cart with various sizes of flip flops, a thoughtful touch!

Great condo!

We have been coming to Mainsail for 10+ years, this is our first time at this property, but it definitely won't be our last!! Of all of the different condo's we have stayed, Ellen's condo definitely has THE BEST ocean view from the balcony. There are no buildings blocking your view of the sugar sand beaches or that amazing emerald water! We watched dolphins and even saw a shark (this was a first), all from the comfort of the balcony. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed! We had a rainy week, but even a rainy week at the beach is still a great time! We will be booking again next summer!

Fabulous stay

This was our 2nd year to stay in this unit at Mainsail. We were very pleased once again and will try to reserve it again for next year. The beach was beautiful with clear blue water. This area is great for shopping and dining out. 5 stars

Our second stay - just as wonderful as the first!

This is the second time our family has stayed in this condo, and it was another great experience! You feel right at home with everything you could need to enjoy time at the beach. Ellen and Joe are the bests hosts. Great communication to make sure check-in is easy and very responsive to any issues that could crop up (though you shouldn’t expect any). The keurig died on us, and they replaced it right away! Steps to the beach and gorgeous sunsets on the balcony. We hope they’ll have us again next year!

We are a Mississippi family including 5 children and 8 grandkids who love the beach.

Why they chose this property

We have traveled to the Destin area over the years staying with our friends who owned this property. Our friends graciously gave us the opportunity to purchase the home, and so, it remains "in the family". Now, since we have multiple family members who live full time in Miramar Beach and Sandestin Resort, we feel especially grateful to own this condo.

What makes this property unique

At 1200 sq. ft, this condo is spacious and light filled and as close to the ocean as you can get at Mainsail. Our balcony faces west, so you will never miss the wonderful sunsets. The Mainsail complex has 2 pools, a splash pad, game room, shuffleboard, and tennis courts. Silver Sands Outlet Mall and Starbucks is a short walk across Hwy 98; Grande Destin located on Hwy 98 east offers plenty of shopping and dining choices; head west and you will find Destin Commons and all it has to offer.
