Villa Monteverde is a spacious 6 bedroom just minutes from the center of Rome. Located near one of Rome’s famous parks, this villa offers several indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to relax as well as modern amenities. This fully air-conditioned villa boasts a fitness room, office and ample gardens and is the perfect retreat for families, groups of friends or even a small wedding party.
The villa’s ground floor hosts the spacious lounge/living room area, which offers plenty of seating space in front of the fireplace and TV. Doors in the living area open to the covered terrace. Here guests can use the grill set for a lovely outdoor meal or relax on the sofas and enjoy the views of the park. Outside there is also a Solarium with views of the park for those who want to cuddle up with a good book.
Guests can prepare meals in the large Bulthaup kitchen, which comes fully equipped. Passing by the grand piano, guests find the dining room, which can seat up to 12 guests. There is also an office on this floor, complete with a telephone, pc, internet connections, pc printer, fax & copy machine for those who need to conduct business during their stay.
Four of Villa Monteverde’s bedrooms are located on the first floor. The first three spacious rooms have two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom offers a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The twin bedrooms are easily convertible in double on request. There is a fifth bedroom on the ground floor with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The sixth bedroom is located in the basement and offers two singled beds as well as a shower bathroom.
The basement is also home to a tavern with a fireplace as well as a TV and snooker table. This is a great place to unwind after a long day in the gardens. There is also a fitness room available on the property for those who want to stay fit.
Guests who want to explore the villa’s surroundings can spend time in the park or take public transportation to other parts of Rome. The town of Trastevere is close by and offers great nightlife as well as many shops and cafes. Rome’s city center is also quite close for those who want to visit the Basilicas, throw coins in the Trevi fountain or marvel at he Colosseum.
