Stunning Riverside garden apartment,historic building,minimalist design+parking

Rotary Court is an amazing example of a magnificent period building steeped in history , well located close to Hampton Court Palace and the Royal Stables. Views across the sweeping grounds to the river Thames at the rear and across Hampton Court Green to the front this is a unique example of period charm meeting contemporary convenience with a very high specification finish internally. Once owned by the Crown Estate, Rotary Court is an early Victorian building.It has been totally refurbished to a luxurious standard. Through the private gates to the rear of Rotary Court fabulous lawned gardens with mature trees weeping willows and shrubs sweep down to the River Thames. Location, location, location, Rotary Court is situated just across the road from Hampton Court Palace, next door to Sir Christopher Wrens and Michael Faraday's Houses with nearby Bushy Park.This bijou studio apartment is a gem.

Superb kitchen and bathroom,views of the river from the lounge, lovely private sunny patio.

Location: Just around the corner in Hampton Court "Village" you'll find plenty of shops from antique and gift shops to small supermarkets as well as an excellent selection of places to eat and drink. There's a fitness centre nearby and The Thames Motor Yacht Club is right next door! From Hampton Court station there's a regular rail service to London Waterloo with a journey time of approximately 25 minutes.

The famous Hampton Court flower show is held here. It is also local for the Royal School of Needlework, Hampton court.

Wendy worked in the Fashion Industry as a Fashion Buyer in London and around the world for over 20 years, moving on to interiors buying and interior design. Graham worked for the BBC as a Director of Photography and then freelance Film unit, so they bought this apartment for when they were working in London

Why Wendy Waghorn chose London

They both love this area, as Wendy owned a fabulous Houseboat about 200 yards up The River Thames,so when this property came up, beside the River and next door to Hampton Court, they jumped at it. Whats not too like!It is also a very old building steeped in history, yet it has been modernised in a contemporary way. Giving the best of both worlds, and a super power shower!

Small but beautifully formed

Once again had a really nice time staying at Rotary Court. The apartment is quite compact with an unusual sleeping arrangement but everything you could want is provided. Gardens down to the river are a bonus as it parking. Wendy is very easy to communicate with and we appreciate the bottle of wine she left as a welcome gift. The location is just about perfect, Hampton Court on your doorstep, with Bushy Park and the Thames as well. Bus stop outside the front of the building for all local trips, including Heathrow, and Hampton Court Station just over the bridge for trips to London. We look forward to our next visit.

My stay at this lovely flat in Rotary Court supplied all that I needed and more! It's a wonderful location for Hampton Court Palace right across the road, but also for boat trips down the river, and all kinds of exploring. It is also a perfect base for trips to London, as the railway station is steps away for trains direct to Waterloo Station. The flat is equipped with comfortable beds, lovely sitting area, fully equipped bath, kitchen with fridge, HOB, and washer/dryer, and lovely sitting area out back looking out over the garden, which in turn leads down the to river. Thanks Wendy and Graham for a lovely stay; I will be back!

Perfect studio for studying at Royal School of Needlework

A small but comfortable studio if you are doing an intensive course of study at the Royal School of Needlework. A 10 minute walk to the palace and fitted with everything you need to be comfortable. An easy walk to shops, restaurants and just a short bus ride to the grocery in East Molesy. Kingston is also 10 minutes by bus. Lovely grounds and a view of the river to boot. Landlord very friendly and helpful.

Fabulously located riverside apartment

Wendy's fabulous little apartment is perfectly located in Hampton Court by the riverside and within close walking distance to the palace, railway station and local shops.

The apartment itself is warm and has superb amenities with a great power shower and everything you need whilst away. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals or just to hold the nice things you have whilst away! There is only one single bed with another day bed that is made up also. The sitting area has a double sofa bed should it be required but the apartment is really just set up for two. It's lovely to stay in an historical building and has real atmosphere.

Wendy's communication was superb and throughout the stay was always on the end of an email should there be any questions. We have stayed in a few apartments in the past when we travel back to the UK and I can honestly say that Wendy's communication is head and shoulders above anything I have encountered before. It really does make a huge difference and is a real confidence boost.

Overall I would highly recommend this bijou residence for a stay in Surrey/London/South East.

Graham and I both used to travel the world with our jobs, so I do like to make the apartment welcoming, especially after a long flight, and we have always found communication is key to giving our guests a comfortable stay. Delightful small apartment

Wendy the owner was great - really helpful and friendly from first enquiry to the last goodbye.

The apartment is small, clean and cozy with nice welcoming touches - all the home comforts to make our stay a really good one.

Very useful to have easy parking access, the garden is lovely and well maintained and you are a 30 second wander down to the river side.

Great river walks in either direction - the walk to Kingston on a nice day is just enough to build a healthy appetite or thirst.

Perfect access to Hampton Court (the Gardens were already free when we stayed - so we used regularly). Easy local transport access as well for Twickenham and Richmond or hop on the local train into central London.

East Molesey just over the bridge provides a good range of places to eat and drink, we tried the Thai, the Italian, The French Bistro and visited a couple of the pubs. if all of that is too far (5 minutes away) then the Mute Swan is an even shorter walk !!
