In good condition

  • 4 of 5

There were 2 families staying at the villa with young children and it catered for all our needs. The 2nd double bedroom is located upstairs and has no toilet facility up there which is a bit of a pain but nothing that you can't live with.

There were a couple of minor things that needed sorting but Alison was on hand to assist and get people round ASAP.

A great holiday, if a little windy- best place to sunbathe at the villa on a windy day is round the side rather than by the pool!

First impression nice property in Shocking unkept area !

  • 2 of 5

We rented for 1 month in December , first week in a beach villa , 2 weeks in this villa and last week in beach villa. We were so shocked at the scruffy approach to this villa . It was like driving through a war zone ! It was 15 minute walk to harbour and we didn't mind that as we easy walked 15 klm several times a week from other villas on beach. The plots in between occupied houses were like bomb sites with every kind of rubbish thrown in ( toilets, tiles, nappies , rubbish etc. If I was a resident in this area I would be complaing to the local council. Unlike the main parts of Correlejo and shopping areas which had immaculate clean and well surfaced roads and pavements this area was completely cracking up and falling apart. The pavements were rubble and dangerous covered in tall weeds. When we entered our property we had to get a mop and clean a 2 inch deep puddle about 2metres square by the front door and clean thick old dust from the patio table ! The bar b q was un useable as completely rusted and no bbq utensils provided ! No heating in the property meant we were very cold at night as no natural light heated up any room during the day. So many doors in the property meant quite a hazard. Kitchen larder doors were dangerous as right next to entrance from lounge and we constantly got trapped or injured when somebody opened the door. The master bedroom was even more dangerous as the dressing area had 6 wardrobedoors opening on to main entrance to bedroom . Constantly getting trapped or locking each other out of bedroom. Couldn't find any clothes in the dark as no interior light working in wardrobe and had to feel around in pitch black opposite a window to neighbours that had no curtain nor gave us any light. Also master bedroom had no mirror only one in ensuite but was unusable in the day as light came through a small bathroom window making it difficult to see what we were doing. We were told Jacuzzi bath wasn't working and not to switch on however we only had 1 bath in 2 weeks as it took 8 days for the water to drain from bath. For 2 weeks we were woken up every night half a dozen times at least with a continuously running cistern. It was so loud it sounded like people knocking on our bedroom door all night and we would wake up in fright. We told Audra about this and she laughed and told us to use other toilet in main bathroom and she would send the plumber. Plumber never arrived ! 6 adults were relieved to rreturn to beach villa /hot tub !

Owner's Response: To be honest I had to read this review several times, firstly as it made no sense and secondly as its so far removed from the truth about our property I genuinely thought it must be a mistake. I do remember being asked to come out to the villa on Christmas Eve as the tv system wasnt working as you had "young kids here" it was vital they had the television to watch. I came out within 30 mins and fixed it for you, your kids where adults but obviously you had felt the need to tell me otherwise! 1. The plots between the "villas where like a war zone" there are indeed 2 empty plots on your road to town neither of which we can be responsible for 2.The 2 inch deep puddle was from the cleaners cleaning the villa the day you arrived, hosing down the patio and the water must have come under the door 3. The table had dust, the villa was thoroughly cleaned the day before, we do however live in a very windy island. I have to wash my table daily too! 4. The bbq was rusted, it is a metal bbq and we cannot supply a new one for every guest but we have now changed it to a stone bbq, utensils where in the kitchen 5.No heating in the villa, we live in a very warm climate(Sub tropical)....im unaware of any properties with heating including 5 star hotels. 6.No natural light heated up any of the rooms, seriously! apart from the large glass patio doors in every room? 7. Wardrobes doors getting trapped in rooms, no light inside the wardrobes meant you had to feel around in the dark for clothes. Why didnt you use one of the 3 lights in the bedrooms they all have bedside lamps and ceiling lights and if there where 6 cupboards surely common sense would then prevale and use the ones at the end of the room avoiding getting trapped 8. The master bedroom only has one mirror in the bathroom that you couldnt see as the sun blocked it?, im pretty sure the sun moves and definitely sets around 5.30pm in the winter 9. The toilet cistern sounded like someone was knocking on it all night, and was trapped inside............I explained when I came that it was indeed Christmas Eve and I couldnt get a plumber out, you said it wasnt a massive problem and it was running when you used it before going to bed, I did indeed joke "well use the other toilet before going to bed" The plumber came twice but you werent home and we assumed this had been resolved. 10 Jacuzzi bath not working... only 1 bath in 2 weeks.. there is a full 2nd bathroom with full size bath in the villa.

Outstanding villa

  • 5 of 5

I have just stayed at this villa for a family holiday. 1 disabled elderly lady, 1 nine year old, 1 three month old and 4 further adults. Superb.

The villa is equipped with everything you need for a great holiday, from kitchen equipment to pool toys, from towels to games, films and amazing bathrooms.

Everything worked well and the pool had sun all day.

The outside shaded area is perfect when you need a breather or have little ones.

There is a supermercado 10 minute walk away, a few bars a short distance away, water park and corralejo also in 20-30 walking distance.

Taxis readily available though.

The villa is clean and beds, bedding, sofas etc are all very comfortable.

I have nothing negative to say about this villa, the only thing I would mention is that the pool is quite deep and my 9 year old couldn't stand up and no Roman steps for my nan but it didn't stop us having a great holiday.

The pool was lovely and warm too.

Beautiful, luxury villa with fab views.

Also would highly recommend a catamaran trip to Lobos Island.

Happy holidays.

très bon séjour dans cette villa

  • 5 of 5
